So I’ve been wanting to give this community the small competitive arena map they deserved. I’ve put over 20 hours into this map and I think I’m finally ready to release it.
This is an inverse asymmetrical small competitive arena map designed for quick gameplay and good teamwork. I built this map with team shooting in mind so I kept a lot of lines of sight intact. I’m looking to get some people to help with play testing so I can make the proper adjustments to further improve the map.
Hopefully my map has what it takes to get into the Community Forge Test Playlist!!!
Sorry about the screenshot quality…I had to take pictures with my phone.

Please can I get some feedback on this, I have put too much work into this to just watch it fall by the waist side. I’ve seen far less interesting maps get commented on when the person who made it clearly had no idea on how to forge maps correctly.
I would need to play the map. I have made five maps that im trying to get them to the forge playlist i dont know how to get are maps out there just keep trying
Hey Darman, can I add you on Xbox for some testing? Or you can shoot an invite my way if you want. Gamertag: Hahkarazy
Updated with video walkthrough of the v1 version. Currently working on v2 version, should be up soon with some much needed improvements.
Looks pretty awesome actually.
Without playtesting it the only real issue that comes to mind would be Landmarking.
Since both sides are the same shape, layout, configuration and color, players will easily get lost in here.
I would guess the only major distinction would be skybox elements (planetoid vs nebula or w/e) in the backround of certain sides.
Its sad that we cannot place lights or color variants on some of the objects in our forge pallettes, but it might be beneficial to place a unique looking object (with an unchanged gameplay footprint), in atleast the polar opposites of the map, to give them some visual distinction.
Id like to try this map out!
Looks really gd, i’ll need to try it out.
I made a small arena map also, it’s called Anodyne if you guys want to try it out also.

I see your point but atleast this isnt forge world where everything was gray. I do have 2 sides of the map colored blue and the colored red whereas the middle structure is colored purple…its subtle but its there…and I did use the skybox/backdrop colors to help identify as well. But as for players getting lost, this isnt a corridor map…its pretty open which helps with knowing where you are. from the little bit of playtesting we did it wasnt much of a problem. You can add me on xbox to help with the v2 version right now if you want. Gamertag: Hahkarazy
Thanks again for the feedback…every little bit helps.
