As many of you have noticed, in Halo 4 FuD we see Fred-104 wearing MJOLNIR Mk. V .
Mk. V is a obviously a secondary variant of the standard Mk. V.
Mk. V doesn’t even exist until 26-27 years after the events in FuD.
I never expected them to get every detail correct, which is why this is small but still slightly annoying.
Maybe some of you can give me a better reason than just budget limitations.

I also found it strange that we were fighting the Storm instead of the regular Covenant. I figured that if this war was even before Halo Wars, then it’d still be regular covenant, though considering the Storm is a different colony then maybe a different colony attacked ._.

Halo 4 takes place AFTER the events of Halo 3… when the Covenant Empire collapsed following the deaths of their Prophets.

He’s meaning in FuD. I’ll just take it as a split between artistic liberties and character resources. The entire change of the covenant in H4 basically means, to 343, they’ve always looked that way and this is how they want to represent them.

Easy, they were wearing a variant of Mark IV that looked like Mark V and Air Assault. Also this should be in the Universe section.

My guess is the people who made the show just liked the look of the helmet and wanted to put it in. It’s not really canon, but whatever.

Considering they are the armor used by Noble 6 and Kat in the Reach teaser, I’d say it’s pretty much confirmed. Only other option is laziness.**

Also for the record, the armor that appears in FuD from Deliver Hope isnt Noble 6’s, but that of Thom 293
