Small but important detail

I loved the Halo Infinite flights. I really don’t have anything negative to say. I love the graphics, the way the armor lights up in specific boxes on the body, the training drills, etc.

The one thing I’d like to see edited though is the ability to move the camera around after you’re dead. Because it’s locked in place, you can’t necessarily see where the enemy is going or where some of the action is. This makes it difficult to alert your partner of their potential location.

So it’s like Halo CE, huh? That’s unfortunate. When waiting to respawn, not being able to move the camera around to entertain myself is annoying. Also, from gameplay I’ve watched, it seems like the respawn timer in Infinite is really high, like 10 seconds. Why?

I forget how long the respawn was, but yes it is frustrating that you can’t move the camera around and you just have to sit there. I could see it being changed at launch and possibly just a quirk of the flight testing.

That might be intentional or it might be placeholder, but we know this is going to be a long life project so it might be a later QoL update.

I think it is more of a balance issue than anything because you could fly around the map and tell your team where everyone is thus breaking strategy for the other team, with the fixed camera you can tell your team where you died and where the enemy is heading but that is it. The enemy still has a chance to change their tactic.

Unless I’m mistaken, I don’t think @A_Right_Knight is wanting a free-flying camera that you can move around the map, but rather one that you can rotate around your fallen form, like in most previous games.

I think dead player don’t have to see what happen around there body, it’s not normal to see what your ennemy do
