Has anyone noticed the Small arms coming out of the middle of the Promethean Knights ? Is it possible a small Organic creature is controlling the A.I .Comment on what you think it is . Here is a link showing the pictures .The two small organic hands can Easily be seen in most of the pictures .

am i the only one that thinks a promethian knight is just some dwarf- like creature that operates some kind of Bio-suit?
I think the arms are just it’s grabbing arms since it’s other arms consist of a melee weapon and a Promethian weapon of it’s choice.

I kind of think of it something like this, but more like maybe more than one non organic creature in a bio suit? The whole thing is pretty weird…
Even though they look organic, they probably aren’t.
Forerunners can mimic Organic life, Engineers are an example of this.
It’s probably for grasping/examining, and are still fully artificial
There are two small arms actually. Presumably they are so that the P. Knight can pick stuff up, push things, etc. I wouldn’t read into it too much. There are no little creatures inside controlling them. However, there may be Forerunner durances, but nothing physically in there.
They may look small, but those are the same size as a Human’s: See Here (maybe the arms and skull belong to the original Promethean Warrior-Servants?).
It’s been stated that the Promethean Knights are partially organic, but the story behind this has yet to be explained (Campaign spoilers?). The Promethean defense constructs (includes Crawler, Watcher, and Knight) were originally purposed to confront the Flood. But since the Knights are part-organic, they disintegrate whenever they are killed to counter the possibility of Flood infection.
Maybe it’s some sort of cyborg type thing.
These arms are slightly disturbing. Their size and proportion reminds me of an infant’s arms, which just leads to an “uncanny valley” effect…
I think it’s possible that there’s a small creature inside controlling the Knight, and these are its arms. If so, then the same small creature may also be controlling Crawlers and Watchers.
Also, am I the only person thinking quad-wielding?

A little creature inside controling the promethean? If it was inside why would the arms be on the outide if it was controling a P knight? And for the same creature to be in all of the other prometheans wouldnt make any sense because The creature would have to be tiny under 3 feet tall to be able to be inside, no the p. knight is taller than even a spartan, now tell me why the arms of the p. knight and the spartans are the same size? Promethean’s werent born, They were made to fight against the flood, They are part organic and part machine, most likely they are organic so that they can use all of the weapons and other things that they made, as another precaution so that their creations didnt try to take over.

Only the Crawlers and Watchers are non-organic. But the Knights have been confirmed to be partially organic.

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that the knights were forerunner elite soldiers who were in slow mutation into flood (due to the forerunner drug that makes this possible) or disabled soldiers had their memories transported into the knight’s brain through the same process Chakas was put into Guilty Spark.
I think they are little creatures in side of like a super suit…
I would say that they’re there for manipulating objects. So the Knight can have the best of both worlds, it can carry a lot of weaponry, while still being able to manipulate objects in whatever environment they are in.
Probably just to handle objects. Have you guys tried to push or carry things with swords and guns in your hands? Probably not so easy.
