Is anyone still having the slow turn issue? I’m having the problem with my Locke controller that came with the halo 5 bundle and it’s only having the issue on Halo 5. And suggestions to fix it???

this is why they allow you to adjust your inner and outter dead zones in case you experience this

You have a suggested dead zone percentage then?

but if he is experiencing slow turn he needs to adjust it until he stops having the slow turn. i forget which deadzone helps with slow turn if its the inner or outer, but 0% is if everything works perfectly fine
Try it in custom games, increase it by 5% every time you test. Adjust 1-2% when slow turn is non-existant

but which one? inner or outer lol that would help him, im trying to find it myself to tell him
I believe outer is for slow turn and inner is for stick drifting.

Inner is usually responsible, for slow responce.
Turn inner to 0% and outer to ~5%~
And inner sensitivity higher than out.
.
For scope stability try.
Dead zone
In 0%
Out 5%
Sensitivity
In 4
Out 3
(Switch if you don’t scope)^
.
Outer = stick near - as far out as it goes.
Inner is opposite.
You want outer to be slightly restricted so you don’t miss those precision kills.
OP I think you changed your title but you didn’t tel us what you tried doing to fix it

Inner is for stick drift. Outer is for slow turn.

I said response… not turn.
.
I thought before the patches, near launch.
There was a horrible inner deadzone making quick movements hard.
.
Turn seems fine, if someone’s behind you that’s your fault.
.
I don’t know what stick drift means*
Though it was when a stick moves on its own…

I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the game, as a Microsoft support person suggested, I’ve changed the dead zones and all that, and even tried different controller layouts because I’ve heard the default is bugged sometimes.
Alrught guys so I’ve got good news. I’d like to thank everyone for all the suggestions but ever since the Firefight update has been available my slow turn issue has been fixed! I’d just like to thank you guys anyways for trying to help me with my problem!
Geez people, just bump up your sensitivity…it’s not rocket science!
