so I’ve been playing fine, with no problems, until a few days ago. When aiming to the right, I slow turn. My question is, is it my controller (elite), or the game?
Aiming to the right, isn’t an issue on gears. And in halo 5, the “normal” controller works fine.
Here’s a horrible quality video that I’ve taken to show what happens every game;
EDIT:
UPDATE!
The new btb update fixed my aim. Problem is now resolved

slow turning has never happened to me it’s always the same, it must be your controller based on that logic. Get a replacement on that puppy.
I can only move X or Y with my Elite (and therefore can’t play until it’s fixed). If I try to move at an angle, Locke’s armour-locker prevents anything but a snail’s pace in said angle. Short term video here
I thought I’d be smart when I tried making the sticks Southpaw… I noticed with Southpaw sticks, the LS aims just fine. So I used the Elite App to swap the sticks with the game’s Southpaw on… 2 rights make a wrong! Definitely a programming issue The reversal of the swap just makes it normal, and therefore unplayable.

this is what I was assuming 343, was referring to when mentioning a fix.
For me on all my controllers and in this game only, I can aim left, right, up, down at one speed, but if I try to aim diagonally it is much slower in all directions. This is a huge problem.
yes I noticed my turning had gotten slower after a week of playing. had to turn my sensitivity up by 2. just got a whole new set up a couple weeks ago so it isnt the hardware.

OK, so I just read that the controls may be fixed, hopped into a custom to find out.
At first, my Elite was still bugged with no diagonal movement (very little). I turned it off and turned on my Locke controller while plugged via USB… Things were fine as expected.
I then turned it off and then my Elite back on.
My diagonal issue was fixed.
Hard resetting the box to see if that clears a cache and reverts back to messed up controls right now.
Edit: Seems perma-fixed! Don’t know if it’s 343i’s fix or if there is a weird calibration action happening when swapping controllers while the console is on.

That’s awesome that this worked for you. No luck over here
Hmmm. Im using an Elite and last night it was proving troublesome and a nearly identical issue while playing. I had a jump on someone, and could not get the recticle to the right, it just dragged like your video. A cushion was punched after I promptly lost the firefight so very vivid in my mind. I will test it tonight to see if it’s still there but something was off the games I played in the evening. It worked fine before.

Please report back in this thread, when you have the chance. Everything was working fine for me til a few days ago as well. I’m also a little concerned since the latest halo blog update had no news about fixing the aim.
