Is it just me or is Halo Reach’s rank progression a lot slower than usual. I just hit Warrant officer and my credit rating is slowly progressing. I’ve been playing matchmaking and firefight so I’m confused.
The ranks get increasing longer and harder to achieve as you go up the ladder. For example, when you hit Warrant Officer, you had a total of 45,000 cR earned. 12,500 of those were from Srgt Grade 2 to Warrant Officer. The next rank (Warrant Office Grade 1) will hit after accruing 33,000 cR more when you’ve earned a total of 78,000 cR.

The amount of CR you gain from higher ranks to generally increase but the gap in CR between each rank do generally increase as well.
A slower progression is also because you will not get rewarded CR from commendations when you have them at silver (not including the boosts for commendation completions). I know that none of us likes it but that is the truth.
