Anybody else having big issues with matchmaking today? Team Arena takes almost 5 minutes a piece to find games while Slayer won’t match me at all (unable to find match error pops up). What’s going on?

People are making smurfs because of their stats on their main accounts are too high to find any games due to the Matchmakingrating. So you either get beaten by players that knows how to play on their main account or when they are on their smurfs.

This is not true, they just want easy games. You see pro players search on their main accounts and find games fine. Finding a game because your rank is too high is not like it was a year ago.

That might be true for some, but i have not been able to find a game other then firefight on my main for 5 months now. This started after the MMR changes.
Not finding games based on rank is just not true anymore, maybe you are searching when there are less people online. People use smurfs to boost friends and just play against lower level players in general.
My issue is that I’m not a high rank. I’m only mid platinum in Slayer. Things are going faster at the moment.
Lately, even searching solo, I can’t find a Warzone game in under 5 minutes on my main. I have to reset the search, and if it takes another 5 minutes, I just switch to a smurf. I find a game instantly. I’d rather play against lower skilled players than not play at all or getting thrown in a JIP where my team is triple capped. (Mind you this is about Warzone only)
For me its a combination of 1) my MMR being too high, and 2) there not being enough players online within my skill level. When I literally have only 5-10 hours per week to play Halo 5, I don’t want to be searching for 20% of my gameplay time. That’s what I thought social playlists were about, finding games as fast as possible with no regards to skill. Now that there is MMR based matching in social, it’s effectively ranked.
If they are going to use MMR to match players in social or Warzone, might as well give me a rank so I know. (perhaps a tier of ranking which assigns a color or gem to identify my rank, like say gold, platinum, diamond, onxy, or champ??? -oh wait…)

Op I have had the same issue as you today. I was thinking the reason was because 343 might be making adjustments. Earlier I couldn’t even find a game in arena slayer. Going to try in a bit here though… Hope I can find one or two…lol…
Yea it’s pretty bad. The one day I decide to play warzone Everytime the game crashes before the match
Idk but this is nit much of a problem for me, it crashes every once in a while, but my internet goes out shortly there after the game drop. I have Xfinity/worst intrenet provider
