I’m not sure if this is intentional or a bug but I was rewatching the Making of Halo 4 video and discovered this. You can see clear through John’s shoulder.
Thoughts?
Not a bug, that’s just the way the armor is.

Noble Six’s knee pads did that in Reach, most notable with the Gungnir Pads while falling from the Long Night of Solace. Because of the similarity I would say it has something to do with the Armor permutations and how different armor pieces connect to his body.
Then again this is the Chief and as far as we know we can’t change his look, unlike Halo Reach. Unless of course he changes armor pieces in the campaign? I don’t know, it could just be nothing.
