Just make another mode called Slayer Pro. Take away spartan abilities, sprinting, clambering, radar and hit markers to be like the original. You can leave the smart scope since its technically just an animation.
This is here to have that other mode for old players to fight in with old functions on Halo 5 and not going to the MCC and playing the other games. Some people want to play Halo 5 with regular functions. So just add this mode and it will be like CoD’s hardcore mode.
So basically it would be nothing but tryhards and nostalgia freaks.
Honestly I wouldnt mind that.
(though the “classic” mode in Halo Reach sure as hell didnt have that many people in it…)

Call it classic slayer not pro slayer.
