Team Slayer. TEAM SLAYER. T-E-A-M S-L-A-Y-E-R.
I love slayer pro! It’s a step in the right direction… But maybe a step to far for the casual infinity playlists.
I think it’s unnecessary to add a no motion tracker gametype to infinity when there is an entire playlist (throwdown) already dedicated to the pro type of gameplay. People are obviously pissed about slayer pro being added, and i think the problem is that it isn’t a middle ground, just more of a loadout variation on throwdown settings. No motion tracker is simply frustrating when playing with random casuals, who don’t call out, and are just too used to the radar crutch.
I honeslty thought for the longest time tht you weren’t adding team slayer voting options to these playlists because you were afraid of adding anything more competitive than infinity slayer, so i’ve made multiple threads and posted here multiple times making suggestions for a more casual middle ground that infinity fans and classic fans might both enjoy, but now i see i have been ignored and not only that but you added in pro, which is by no means a middle ground and destined to piss people off. i honestly have no idea what you are thinking. It’s obvious that i don’t need to suggest a middle ground between infinity and team slayer because you’ve now jumped the shark all the way to slayer pro.
Remove slayer pro, and add team slayer.
take slayer pro: replace secondaries with automatics, enable the motion tracker, and place weapons on the map.
This is literally all I’ve been asking for from the beginning, and it’s so frustrating that you aren’t hearing me. The people are glad that pro has been added would have been just as glad for team slayer, and the infinity kids would have been far less pissed off. Please get your act together.
TEAM SLAYER!
p.s. these setting s in objective playlists would be nice too!

Don’t remove Team Throwdown. Add Motion Sensor to every “Slayer Pro” game-type excluded Team Throwdown.
I concur. We have TD for the “pro” gametypes. A simple Team Slayer option (basically Pro with motion tracker) would be a nice addition to IS and BTIS.
I have been waiting for years to post this…
“Why don’t you people just learn to adapt to the changes of Halo, it can’t stay the same forever. This is the new Halo, get over it or leave…” <–Sound familiar?
It’s about time they did something to make this game fun again, I haven’t sat down and played for more than 3-4 games in a long time and I played for almost 3 hours last night.
Halo is fun again

It’s funner (and fairer) without Infinity settings.
And that’s what thousands of Halo fans did with the changes. They left. That’s not a good thing BTW.
Pro is more entertaining than Infinity has been because I am fed up with insane power weapon counts on the map, custom loadouts (boltshot, camo, plasma grenades, plasma pistol, etc.), instant respawn.
It think it’s a mistake to call slayer pro a mistake, especially when it gives us such a classic variant and feel. I do agree Team Slayer would be BETTER, but I am perfectly happy with pro, especially compared to the “random chaos” we’ve had to deal with in Infinity.
If the slayer pro playlist had stuck around I would have played that quite often. This slayer pro is better however.

Couldn’t agree anymore, and I’ve been a fan of radar, not motion tracker since day one. No reason map movement should be punished because an always on motion detector. At least make it an AA and make an AA make your character a much less frequent dot.
New Xbox information in about an hour, will see if the Halo failure mixed with the new system, pushes me back to the Playstation. Halo has been my main reason to have an Xbox, but we’ve all seen what’s taken place.
The changes with adding PRO have got me back into Halo again, but I still don’t see Halo moving in the right direction. Took way to long to try saving the population and it was simply too late.
As I said: I love slayer pro, but I’m trying to be empathetic and find a middle ground.
People here never seem to do that. It is always: -Yoink- slayer pro, this playlist is called infinity slayer and that’s all it should be! Screw everyone who quit this game, they can go play Halo 3. OR: oh, you don’t like slayer pro? Well boo–Yoinking!–hoo! I’m going to stomp your newb -Yoink- over and over, cause now you can’t have your stupid crutch hahaha!
The truth is regular team slayer would please both audiences together a lot more, so let’s just do that. I think this is something the community should really be able to come together on, but they are too busy being at eachother’s throats to realize.
Maybe I was a bit over dramatic in calling it a mistake, but the truth is a better decision could have been made, and that decision could have happened a long time ago. Still waiting for 343 to get their act together.
