Slayer pro, the only gametype without radar e

So, thank you for removing the only nearly competitive gametypetype from matchmaking, the one that relied on teamwork, situational awareness, and not staring at the corner of your screen to know where everyone is at all times. you’ve just lost another customer 343. Thanks for the waste of money. goodbye.

Stripped down ≠ competitive, and slayer pro is no more teamwork oriented than any other gametype in Halo 4 due to the random weapon drops and garbage maps.

If slayer pro was all you enjoyed I think you wasted your own money

I am too upset about this, Slayer Pro was my favorite playlist. I’m not a big fan of Infinity Slayer.

I believe it was the least played playlist. Correct me if I’m wrong. Sorry, guys I guess the community isn’t “competitive” enough to play Slayer Pro.

O thank god that you guys are tweaking it!!!
Here are some of my ideas if you want to use them:

  1. 3 sec respawn time
  2. set weapon times
  3. 100% movement speed. (i know allot of comp players wont like this but i believe that all slayer based Gt’s other than action sack should play at the same base speed.)
  4. Rename team slayer- This is the only halo game with out a team slayer Gt and alot of people will play anything called team slayer
  5. a Lil more ammo?
  6. forge maps plzzzzzzzz

you guys do know you can tweak a playlist and have it up right? i think this is just a attempt to get rid of the only competeive playlist i hope they make it up with a INgame visable ranking system or else halo 4 will die. the reason no one is playing slayer pro is it Kinda broken and random weapon spawns is not competetive with Cod instant respawns that is.

slayer pro is a good playlist you work with your team mates more often than infinity. the random weapons should rely on the score .

Slayer Pro should have respawn times, no killcam, set weapon spawns (i.e. nothing random), and hopefully, eventually, in-game rankings. 343 has said that small maps are on the way in the next DLC, that will be great as well. Once Forge maps are added into the mix as well, Slayer Pro will be perfect to keep me playing until Halo 5.

Due to not getting the spec codes leaving me stuck at level 70, due to the new maps being enormous, due to the lack of ranks, I have not played the game in a while.

This makes me hate this damn game so much. I remember in Reach there were two playlists with a rank: 2v2 and 4v4. The whole time I thought “they will add ranks to other playlists in the near future.” Quite the opposite, the removed 2v2 early on and never replaced it. I feel the same way with the news of Slayer Pro being removed. The developers are systematically removing skill from the game.

I agree partially. I am not giving up on 343 yet because the changes they made with the BR/DMR are incredible. I have faith in them.

Team Slayer Pro wasn’t perfect but it was still much more enjoyable (for me) than Infinity Slayer. I understand the community was small but that is because for every 9-10 casual players there is maybe 1-2 competitive players. I don’t see it right to force major changes like Armor Abilities and Ordinances to people who grew up with Halo. I played and continue to play Halo for what made it so incredible. Map Control, communication, and individual skill. Infinity Slayer takes all of that and pretty much obliterates them terms. It’s a gametype made for the masses. I am fine with that playlist because I can see it definitely attracting the casual player but I need a playlist that requires some skill and teamwork. Just give me a BR/DMR, timed and specific weapon spawns, no AAs, and I will be happier than a child on Christmas.

Please don’t take away the Halo I grew up with.
