After analyzing the Team Slayer voting data that took place the first two weeks of February, we were able to draw several instructive conclusions. Most importantly we learned that:
A significant portion of Halo: Reach players enjoy the Title Update settings.
A significant portion of Halo: Reach players enjoy the original Halo: Reach settings.
A significant portion of Halo: Reach players simply enjoy playing Halo: Reach.
To make sure all three groups have a Team Slayer option that fits their preferred way of playing the game, we are adding a new playlist called Super Slayer. Super Slayer is a replica of Team Slayer with the Title Update changes included. Team Slayer will still be available with its original settings intact, and Super Slayer will peacefully coexist with it.

I like how Arena was ignored again. That makes me real happy and I greatly appreciate you guys ignoring everyone who has every posted on here pleading for changes to Arena.
I hope you enjoy the backlash you receive for ignoring Arena for yet another subsequent Season!
Squad Slayer was alot of peoples favorite playlist because it was a slayer experience with NO ARMOR LOCK. Was literally my favorite playlist because of this. “Super Slayer” WTF? Let the Vanilla kids have Team Slayer, no need for two playlists of the same thing.
And REMOVING bleedthrough? Um…What?! Have we not already been through this? This was the main positive aspect of TU. And if you’re going to remove half of TU, then just REMOVE TU.
Squad didn’t need to be removed. If anything you could have just left the Team Slayer playlist as default and kept Squad since it had superior settings.
PLEASE tell me why you’re removing squad slayer? That’s the best slayer playlist because it doesn’t have AL… You guys are removing it for what purpose? To make a replica of TS with AL just with TU settings?
Why not keep squad slayer and just make it 4v4? It has the best matching system for teams, the best settings… and you guys remove it because your poll for tu vs. vanilla failed and didn’t know how to make every one happy.
You guys did a horrible job with this update.
Oh please ban me for posting how I hate this update and “flaming” them because they wanted to hear feedback and i’m giving it to them.
“We hope you love March’s matchmaking playlist update. And if you don’t, we have no doubt you’ll let us know in the forums. And, for the record, we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The dmr was never a 4sk, there is no possible way you could have gone all this time thinking that.
If squad slayer is removed I’m done with reach.

Some people just can’t stand armor lock. I’m in otter shock right now, that’s pretty much the only playlist I played.

ARMOR LOCK is a HUGE reason.
Remove SQUAD DLC, or something with a low population.
And if they’re removing bleedthrough, it’s hardly even TU anymore. This is mind boggling. Unreal.
This playlist update has almost erased all the good they’ve done in my eyes. I don’t think Bungie took this big a step back with a matchmaking update in H2, H3, or Reach, sure they were slow with improvements, but they never butchered anything this hopelessly.
