That’s good to know.
I’m glad they ended up doing this before 2022.

I also hope they have a merry Christmas.

Too little, too late.

I see your just trying to bait someone into this I see what your doing

Thank god because it was sorely needed. Hopefully they can get an objectives playlist in soon as well.

What do you mean? I’m not baiting anything. I’m not gonna jump up and down for this company anymore because they do bare minimum. Wow! You’re giving us Slayer and swat?! My name isn’t Charles Dickens. So I’m not gonna beg like I had to with halo 4, 5 and MCC. This was the last chance. They don’t want to get their Yoink together, then that’s fine. I don’t need to play the game.

Lol this is what you call a Christmas present? This should have been the bare minimum released with the game…

I think that’s sensible, but I think they should at least be given some more time before people start saying ā€œtoo little, too lateā€.
It’s understandable they wouldn’t change much right now since it’s the holidays, and they’ve been working on the game for a while.
If by February we don’t start seeing more changes being made to fix the problems that people have been complaining about (not just one here or there either, because that would obviously be drip-feeding), then I could see just dropping the game and being critical of Microsoft.

I don’t care. This game should have Shipped with more content. Bar none. The population is dipping and gee I wonder why that is.

I agree that the game should have had far more content at release, but if they fix the game’s problems, I could see the player population increasing, and the game being worth playing for a long while.

Oh yeah, like it increased with Halo 5 and MCC, right? Give me a break. Games need to launch with a bang. The ONLY thing that may sway people back is that it’s free to play. And how long will that last? This game needed to be made for Halo fans and it wasn’t. You guys don’t want to hear it, but it’s the truth. The ball was yet again fumbled. I don’t wish anything bad in this game or the people who made it. I just think fake praise and ignoring the past is a mistake. Especially with their track record. Everyone gets so caught up in the hype and passion of everything. That includes them ā€œFixingā€ MCC. Which is commendable. But realistically, had that game shipped working, we’d be in a resurgence. Had this game shipped with content, we’d be in a resurgence. Now we’re left with a bunch of free to play excuses from a fanbase that literally all of us purchased the campaign so it being FTP means absolutely nothing to us because we plopped down 60 dollars so some fortnight kid can play for two days, get bored and move onto the next thing. This isn’t subjective, CHECK the steam population. shrugs

All we’ve ever asked for is a simple campaign with an interesting story and a refined multiplayer. That’s it. And when we say simple… They hear OPEN WORLD!!? Oh we should spend all our time making a giant map with nothing to do? Okay sure!! Then all the missions will just be linear, anyway, thus rendering this time we spent making a whole free roam map utterly pointless?

Yeah, thanks.

There’s reason to be negative, but I don’t think it’s bad to have some hope.
As you said, it’s free-to-play.
So, it’s not really in the same situation that The Master Chief Collection was.

Also, I’ve been quite critical of the multiplayer, but I still think it would good to give them some time.
We’ve been waiting more than a decade for a good Halo game, so it’s not much to wait a few more months.
If they’d managed the game properly and hadn’t rushed it to try to get it released at the same time as the Xbox Series X, it probably would have been in development for another year at least.

I didn’t buy the campaign since even though I like open-world games, I’ve heard that Infinite doesn’t make much use of it as you mentioned, and I’m not sure, but I think a very large portion of the campaign was cut.
Also, I haven’t been interested in the story since Halo 3.
They probably should have made a normal campaign that was as open yet linear as the first Halo.

LMAO. Wait till you find out it’s one playlist with all the modes in it.

I think it’s already been confirmed that it’s multiple playlists.

Show me where because I checked. Nothing like that was said. They said they would come but didn’t mention if they were separate
