I love Super Slayer. The new maps are great. But when it comes to voting, the choices really kill the fun. Let’s see… Either Slayer DMRs or Slayer Pro… Hmm. Really, what’s it’s asking me is whether I want a radar or not. Simple ‘Slayer’ only gets one ticket box. The other two are almost the same, and damn I’m getting tired of using the same gun all the time.
Why is there Slayer DMRs and nothing else? Where’s Slayer Swords? Slayer Anything Else?
Slayer Swords would be so silly, if you have a bad connection, you lose.
Slayer w/ ARs or the main precision weapon is how it has always been, and as you can see, people prefer DMR games compared to AR games.
Everyone having an AR means that the benefit of skill is diluted down to how accurately you can throw grenades and strafe, rather than weapon skill which I HATE.
The second everyone has a precision weapon, it is obvious who deserves to win that particular matchmaking game because they will have the skills to combine movement of themselves with the kinetic force of there weapon to inflict maximum damage on one or more enemies in a small space of time, with minimal on themselves, where as with ARs…
Run towards enemy … Both Open Fire BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Both Melee
Both dead.
Repeat for 10 minutes

to OP Needle Rifle start is available in slayer pro i think?
Slayer Pro also has some different weapon arrangement as well, I believe. I played a Pro match on Powerhouse CTF and the Focus Rifle was replaced by a sniper. Not sure about other maps though.

i’m quite sure there is no sniper on powerhouse its only ever been the focus rifle.

I’m certain I played a match in Objective that was CTF Pro and it had the sniper. Maybe this isn’t available in regular Slayer Pro though.

i wouldn’t like to call it but i don’t remember a sniper on powerhouse and i’ve played it on most playlists and gametypes.

In “Pro” the Focus Rifle is replaced by the Sniper.

“Pro” gametypes use the Arena Weapon Set setting, which Arena ironically doesn’t…
It does some other stuff in addition to swapping a Sniper for the Focus Rifle, including…
OT: Something that I think would make the gametype different would be bringing back the Needle Rifle Loadouts and removing grenades off spawn for less spam (It would also be nice to limit it to 1 grenade in all normal gametypes).
The Needle Rifle’s ZB is not OP at all and only gives you a small edge since the DMR doesn’t miss many shots in TU bloom and is ZB when crouched anyway. The DMR also kills faster now that bleed is gone. In addition, less bloom makes the gun harder to use. However, the fact that it can kill unshielded players with only 3 shots to the body like the DMR but fires faster makes the gun more worthwhile.
