I’m trying to rank up in the Slayer playlist, but it’s going so slow with losing a lot of the time despite almost always getting a positive KD in them lately. And no, I’m not a camper. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to try to find a stable group to play with to get up the ranks easier or should I just grind through it hoping for the best? I’m currently Gold 1.
Playing with people that you can at least tolerate and communicate fluently is almost always better than playing alone. ( unless if it’s a solo game/mode of course)
As for ranking (if you care about it), always play with people around your rank tier. Playing with people better than you will cause you to feel bad at the game and win, and playing with people worse than you will cause you to feel good and lose the game … So playing if someone around your rank is more fair for everyone in your squad. If ranking doesn’t bug you or the guys you are with then ignore all of that.
Edit: I suggest finding people Silver 5 - Gold 4 and work on call outs and power weapon/up times (every 2 min for power ups btw) if you are gold 1. If you want to rank up to your teams CSR rather than your luck with Randoms.
