Skydiving Spawn Option - Warzone

After watching the halo 5 opening cinematic it got me thinking about the possibilities of some actions in that trailer taking place in multiplayer.

Why not add the option to skydive into a location on a map like that trailer. Maybe a warzone map could give you another option to spawn in either on the ground or aerial drop. (<- Sounds so good)

I think it could be maybe a certain base you need to control in order to get the skydiving option but i think it would be amazing. Bf3 had a map that allowed you to do this and it was fun. I think if halo had that then it would be even better.

This idea reminds me of Section 8… Would be cool I guess, but I love flying in those Falcons.

Maybe in one of the warzone maps instead of starting the match in a pelican your team comes skydiving in?
I’d also like to have this in the campaign forcing you to dodge banshees and debris of sorts while skydiving down.

Good idea, battlefield 3 had this in one of its Rush maps. Maps like this will be made in Forge for sure.

Yeah but imagine if they made a specific animation for a aerial spawn for skydiving. Like imagine a badass landing with the thrusters showing and the impact with dust, dirt debree or elements flying around you.

I could just picture how badass this would be man.

Great idea, now let hoping that 343 will make it happen.

This is actually a very nice idea. I don’t think it might work in multiplayer, too many variables, but it would be great if they made the player skydive with the team a couple of time in single player.

I mean, both Far Cry 3 and 4 showed us that you can have nice animations/controls when skydiving in a videogame, so why not?

That isn’t that bad of an idea. I wouldn’t mind seeing something like this.

Maybe as a different intro to Warzone matches instead of the same old pelican intro.

nah respawn is animated with you bailing from a pelican and you either us thrusters to slow for landing or you can just do a low orbit ground pound… Got to style all over the enemy

Think of it being like normal spawns but in the air and you drop down. There is a bunch of ways they could do it. It could be a predetermined path like titanfall or they could allow you to fly to certain locations if you want to from spawning in the sky. Like tops of buildings and stuff could just have soft kill boundaries.

There really isnt that man variables. Like they could also make it that when you start falling your doing a skydiving animation and then when you hit a certain altitude level then your spartan braces for impact. They could easily be determined by certain boundaries that you hit to force animations and yes no fall damage.

I mean i think it could also be kinda bad cause someone could point out you as a target before you land and take you out.

Sky dive in initial spawn/game start. Heck yeah! Way cooler than the Breakout man-cannon jump.
Every other spawn is regular spawn.

Or ODST drop pods like at the beginning of Halo:ODST.

this idea is pure genius. I would imagine something like Titanfall except you drop from a pelican at a higher altitude and you get to maneuver your spartan in mid flight to land on the battlefield. Now let us hope 343 adds this sometime into the game

Halo 5 already doesn’t have fall damage, so this could work.

If there’s one thing Halo could learn from Section 8, it would be the spawning system. I would love to see a similar skydive spawn mechanic in Halo, specifically Warzone. It would be great to be able to choose between spawning at various bases, or make a very precise guided drop exactly where you want to land.

I love this idea. I hope it could be forgeable.
