I have been wondering this for a little bit, and am curious… Do you think Halo 4 will have campaign skulls? I personally loved the skulls system in Halo 3, and was dissapointed in halo reach where all the skulls were pre-found. Any speculations? Would you like to see skulls in halo 4?
Halo 2, 3 and CEA had them, Halo 4 should have them as well. ^^

Yes Halo 4 should have skulls and they should be hard to find like in Halo 2. I remember breaking outside the map to reach a few of the skulls in that game.

They should have the skulls like they had in Halo 3. I liked having to search for them then using them as a weapon to beat down brutes xD I don’t like how they had them in CEA though, you just walked over them and you couldn’t even pick them up.
Well you didn’t pick them up in CE:A because it is just a graphical thing. But yes they should have to be found, I had no motivation to find the Data Pads in Reach (Only found 3 or 4 of them so far)
Oh but there better not be a skull like catch in Halo 3 (I think it was catch) where you have to jump in a complicated way, without killing the Wraith and other vehicles that are shooting at you the whole time.
There were some great areas for skulls in Reach. Also, the skulls should be hidden, just not in a rediculous locations and not requiring Legendary difficulty like in Halo 2 with so many Halo 2 skulls.
I want to go skull hunting again, and then I want to grab the skull and smash my co-op partner over the head with it.

Even if you know the destination from a video online, it’s still real fun. They really need to add in skulls, they are great. It will make the campaign more interesting.
There wont be skulls. There will be something however to replace them. I forgot where I heard it but it was during a Q&A somewhere.
I imagine its because skulls were another one of the “bungie” style things and 343 wants to have their own special items to find in campaign for modifiers.

Finding skulls was fun in Halo 3, I want them to return.

Aww dang I hope that they still do have the skulls though. Hopefully the new thing will be like the skulls where we can search for them and actually use them. But then that would probably just be copying the skulls unfortunately…
Sadly Its Been confirmed for a while now that there will not be sklls in the campaign.
although now that i think about it, <mark>wut if they replaced skulls with … … TeddyBears</mark>!!! the GRD doll would be a perfect example

They wont be skulls lol. They never said they wouldnt hide them like skull. They just said they wouldnt be skulls.
Im sure they still hide them though. But whatever it is it will still be fun to find.
Yea it would be cool to still find them. I meant be like skulls as in you could use them as weapons, that was one of my favorite things about the skulls.
