What skulls would you like to see added or like to see make a return in Halo 4?
Here’s my list of five:
Sputnik - Halo 2 - This by and far was my favorite skull ever, as it made a lot of stuff more possible and fun. While it was largely replaced by Cowbell, the skull didn’t have the same effect. While it did expand the radius of explosions, it didn’t have the melee spin-around that allowed you to quickly melee the back of an enemy, and it didn’t affect the gravity of certain items like Sputnik did.
I Would Have Been Your Daddy/IWHBYD - Halo 3/ODST/Reach - I can understand why this skull was left out of CE:A, but it definitely deserves a spot in 4.
Grunt Birthday Party - Halo 3/ODST/Reach version - This one makes the list for all the times it made me giggle watching Grunts explode into confetti upon a headshot.
Bandanna - Halo: CE:A - Many may find this cheap, I call it vengeance. Nothing’s better than running through a difficult level with infinite ammo, and laughing at their futile attempts to stop you. Also, it made Flood levels easier with infinite Frag Grenades.
My top 5 - games they appeared in - what they did and/or what I want them to do
Thunderstorm - H2, Reach - Elite regulars upgraded to Ultra Elites. Elite spec ops upgraded to Councilors. 2x Zealots. My kind of battle.
Black Eye - H2 + H3/Reach hybrid - Same as H2 Black Eye except it only works on enemies and when at normal shield and it’s damaged, can hit live enemy to recharge shield without going up to overshield. If kill enemy with melee, then it works like in H2.
Assassins - H2 - instead of affecting enemies, only affects allies after betraying them. Cloaked Goldies, cloaked Councilors, cloaked Hunters, cloaked Councilors army!!!
GBD - H2 + H3 hybrid (Reach and CEA is just graphics) - affects all AI that can be headshotted (that would now include Drones) and causes plasma grenade explosion but confetti exclusively comes out of Grunts
Cortana Vision- Same as Megan fox vision except it’s Cortana.
Sputnik- This skull is infinitely cooler than cowbell. Helped launch you to soccer ball and scarab gun.
Bandana-awesome.
Squeaker- Makes all cloaked enemies squeak when they walk.
Rainbow- Scarab beams are rainbow.
