As many of you know, Halo 5 sees the return of skulls hidden throughout the campaign, something we have no seen since Halo 3 outside of the remakes. My question is, can we pick them up and use them like melee weapons again? Or will it just be you walk over them and they unlock? As useless of a weapon as they were, it was very fun beating Covenant with a human skull. Silly question I know but, it doesn’t hurt knowing beforehand.
IGN has an article up about the first skull they found. I haven’t looked into because I don’t want spoilers.

I checked, unfortunately you cannot carry them. They just disappear after you hold X. Which is a shame, i miss smashing heads with a head.

Even better: turn the skull into a projectile to be fired by other weapons.
How about an Incineration Cannon that fires a shower of skulls which insta-kill anything they touch
