Well, I hoep this hasn’t been mentioned already but do we have to find terminals and skulls in 4. Please tell me, no. I don’t feel like going headhunting.
I think both are in the game. I wish I had confirmation, but it’s a strong possibility.

Damn…I have to tell you, when it came to halo 3 & halo CEA, i always hated finding the skulls and terminals. Hopefully its easier in 4.

But that’s where half the fun is! head explodes due to extreme disagreement

This must be why Jeff tells me “YOU HAVE THE BALL” now…

They are a pain, but well worth it. That said…you could just wait a day and find their locations on the Internet.

Or buy a strategy guide when you pick up Halo 4.

Pretty much.
As long as they are not as hard to reach as that stupid skull on Silent Cartographer (Bandanna?)
I actually enjoyed looking for skulls and terminals, but I think it the skulls will be unlocked for you buy you have to find the terminals.
I would actually like to see skulls do fun things like bandanna with infinite ammo or super jumps or low gravity or big heads.
There’s no achievements for finding skulls, so I think they wont have to be found, sadly. They were difficult, but I enjoyed hunting for them and they added a lot of replay value IMO.

No need for a strategy guide when we have youtube.
I want them to hide the skulls
> I want them to hide the skulls
Me too my friend, me too. Finding them was one of my favorite parts of the Halo 2 and 3 campaigns.
WHy WOULDN’T you want them? Thay are so fun to look for?! D:
Terminals are definitely in. Skulls are still on the fence. There’s an achievement for beating a mission with 3 skulls, but they could do a Reach system where you just start with all of the skulls. Whether they are there as collectibles or not is still up for debate.
Personally I like skull-hunting and trying to find terminals. Skulls mainly for the sake of the weird places they’re usually in. But I also like looking for terminals because I like learning more about the Halo universe.

Sometimes it drives me insane trying to find certain ones. lol.
Me thinks skull are given. Terminals are confirmed via the achievos
Terminals are confirmed, and “findable”.
Skulls are confirmed, but haven’t been confirmed to be “finable” yet.
And contrary to your opinion, the community at large LOVES skull/terminal hunting. You don’t HAVE to find them if you don’t want to, either.
But reallistically speaking, the only Halo games that now don’t have “findable” skulls are ODST and Reach, which are the 2 non-traditional series games (i,e. games without Master Chief).
CE now has finable skulls vis a vis Anniversary, and Halo 2 & 3 both have them.
I’d assume that since 343i went through the trouble of putting skulls into CE: Anniversary, they’d make them findable in Halo 4. I mean why not? They knew people loved it enough to put it into Anniversary, so why leave them out of Halo 4? After all, all the main Halo games (the non-prequel/sidequest games) have findable skulls, so why not keep the tradition going?

The thing is, I seriously doubt they’ll be collectibles if there’s no achievements for it. It’s not completely impossible, but it’d seem odd, especially if there’s achievements for finding terminals.
