Does anyone else think that you should be able to skip the beginning cutscenes of Spartan Ops?
Gives me time to take a swig of my drink or set something up so I don’t really mind.
No… its a continuation of the Story Line 6 Months After Halo 4, leading up to the events that shall continue in Halo 5, it is likely, that some point in one of the Cutscenes, or EVEN one of the missions we will see Chief. Maybe even rocking the Mark 7 if he did indeed change his armor. 
When i say skip I mean like hit Y to skip it not just not show them.

I would agree to it if it required all 4 people to vote in favor of a skip.
Wouldn’t be fair or fun if the group could cause a skip if you had yet to see it.
They aren’t really all that long so I wouldn’t consider it a big deal either way.
No, I personally love the cut-scenes. I’m the same with the campaigns.

they are like 8 seconds long…whats the point?
Yes, they need a skip OPTION. I hate having to go through the same cutscenes over 50 times for a commendation.

No, the cutscene only lasts 10 or 20 seconds and helps set the scene for the mission - no need to be able to skip it. If you don’t have the patience to wait that long I’m surprised.
The only people who would want to be able to skip it are those who are grinding for commendations. They’re completely missing the point of the Spartan OPs story element to Halo 4.

I also think it’s annoying how we have to wait for the Microsoft/343i sequence when starting up the game.
Yeah it’s not terribly long but I like getting straight to the point. Look at CE and Halo 2. You skipped a cutscene, you were in the gameplay immediately. Then in Halo 3 and etc., you have things like first person cutscenes and black screens to deal with.
There ought to be a free play mode or something that has these cutscenes removed.
