The other day I was playing Big Team Battle and I noticed something about someone on the other team. He was a perfect shot with with the Sniper Rifle, but here’s the thing, he was getting all of these headshots while in the side-seat of a Revenant. While his teammate drove the vehicle around, he was popping off our teammates from a considerable distance, and 90% of the time he got a headshot. Sometimes he’d shoot and then move his aimer across the screen and shoot and get another headshot. It was unbelievable!
I saved the game clip so if anyone wants me to I’ll add it too my fileshare and link it to my B.net account.
It’s a well known glitch/exploit. Whenever you sit in the revenant passenger seat, you get massive aim assist. It works with every weapon, but most effective with the sniper rifle and DMR because of how easy it is to headshot doing this.
Yeah, it’s literally that easy. You hardly have to try and you will get headshots with the sniper in the revenant.
Why wasn’t it fixed? Who knows. It’s been talked about almost as long as the game has been out for. It’s probably not that easy to patch it without the risk of screwing something else up. Or maybe they just don’t see it as a big deal.

it happens alot more and a lot more acurately in revys
OK, first off by leme saying I didn’t read any reply.
OP you’re a NOOB if you don’t kow about the ReveSnipe Glitch (which allows the sniping passenger of a Revenant to Snipe with aimbot accuracy) till his ammo runs dry or the opposing teams gets smart and kills the Rev.
Don’t play BTB if searching alone or less than 4 people.

It may not exactly be a glitch, just maybe the way it was made to be. I noticed the view angles are slightly different when you are driving the Rev. , so it is possible that the easier shooting is due to this angle adjustment for the driver.
That isn’t something that game testers would have missed when the multiplayer was being worked on in production. That’s why I am thinking it was either intentional, or they would have had to adjust the whole driving mechanics for the Rev. in order to correct the easier aiming abilities (which wouldn’t have been worth the effort).
All vehicles have exponentially increased bullet magnetism, although I honestly don’t think bungie took into account the sniper being in the side seat. I mean why would anyone get in a revenant with a sniper outside of messing around?
It’s more of a glitch than aimbots or any mods. anybody can get on a revenant, warhog, and a mongooose with a sniper and kill people easily. when Bungie made the game there are no straight answers if Bungie did it intentionally or just a glitch.

Listen, dude. I’ve been playing Halo since 2001 so I’m not a “noob”. Maybe you should look up it’s meaning. Also, just because I don’t know some fancy glitch, that doesn’t mean I’m a “noob”. So stop trying to be some cool Halo person because you know glitches and get out of my topic.
And my spouse and myself love playing Big Team so we’ll keep playing, even though we’re only a party of two.
