That’s a fact. I hated Spartan laser. It sucked. Change my mind.

Skewer has a significantly lower velocity than the Spartan Laser, so you have to aim your shots in front of where your target is moving. As for destroying vehicles, the Spartan Laser absolutely prevails. It takes at least a couple hits with the Skewer to destroy a warthog. If you’re fighting a tank, good luck using the Skewer for that.

But charging for 10 seconds then getting ready to shoot someone but then they run…it’s the worst.
Different guns for different purposes (and different factions). Imo there’s space for both in the sandbox. Screw the sandbox purists!

I was never a fan of the splaser. But impaling a mfer with a giant metal spike is glorious every time.
Its great. I like it.
But it can’t kill a guy then hit a player behind him and then travel across map to kill 3 Spartans in a warthog like the lazer can.
Hey, everyone knows the sniper is the master of multiple penetrations. Did you see the video of the Japanese guy penetrating 23 spartans at once?

Making spartan shiskabobs with my skewer is way more satisfying than spartan laser.

I can’t change your mind. You’re absolutely right. Skewer is the best, most badass new weapon in Infinite. And as a bonus, it also does higher melee damage.
I’m hoping to get better with this gun. One of the guns I definitely need to work on.
the skewer makes me look back on weapons like the railgun and binary rifle like “wow… how did these pass the drawing board?”
