343 has really changed the Halo Multiplayer experience that we have all come to love. I am skeptical to see if this is for the better or the worse. The game looks awesome so far but I said the same thing about Reach. I personally thought Reach was a great game but it seemed like the rest of the community disagreed. I’m not sure about there thought process about bringing armor abilities back into Halo since it did not seem to work that well in Reach.
Here is my question for you, are you skeptical about Halo 4?
I’m not skeptical at all. We’ve got so much information that I can tell it’s gonna be a great game.
Also, I thought Reach was really good too. People just like to complain about the newest Halo. Once Halo 4 is out, people will wish it was more like Reach, just like they wish Reach was more like Halo 3.
Im not at all i guess i’m one of those strange people who like both reach and Infinity slayer besides the classic playlist will not include Specializations or any of the stuff from Infinity slayer like load outs and ordnance drops.

I am also skeptical about its success, the release date is around the same day Black Ops 2 comes out. I know for a fact Halo 4 will be better the Black Ops 2 but at the same time, I know for a fact Black Ops 2 will have much more success business wise.
I am extremely skeptical about Halo 4. Though there are a few positive points, based on everything I’ve seen so far, it looks set to be filled with all sorts of inconsistencies when it comes down to the fundamentals of 1-on-1 encounters. Extrapolating the use of Specializations into a number of these theoretical gameplay scenarios gives me great cause for concern and I fail to understand why it does not for everyone.
Moreover, what could mildly be described as 343’s lacklustre approach to Playlist management in Reach has me extremely concerned about this aspect of Halo 4, post-launch.

this except that i wanted to keep playing reach but i just couldnt get into it enough to play more than one game
Having a bit of skepticism is healthy. I am a skeptic at whether they will deliver a ba story for the campaign and some of the features in mm. The majority of me says this game looks nice though.
hated reach. and im working on a list of names for halo 4.
call of duty: 2153
call of duty: space marine
halo? 4
halo: pay to win edition
call of duty: future warfare
i cant believe its not cod
halo 4: death of a franchise
now i have nothing against cod (well i do but im not using cod as an insult) but halo and cod should be 2 completely different games… instead halo is transforming into call of duty… i havent really be paying much attention to it till today and what ive been reading disgusts me. idk i guess i still think of halo 1 and 2 when i think of halo. hell i thought 3 was bad but reach and 4 are really making me think halo 3 wasnt all that bad after all…
oh btw the whole pay to win thing is kind of a turn off as well. its one thing when a free to play game does it but a full retail release? blow me 343.
whatever ill just stick to PC gaming. anyone wanna buy an elite xbox? -Yoink- never mind i still have forza… -Yoink!- i could use the cash.

I disagree with the CoD comment, Halo and Call of Duty are nothing alike. I don’t understand why people believe that Halo is transforming into Call of Duty. You do realize Call of Duty wasn’t the first game to create loadouts. I also don’t know why you thought Halo 3 was a bad game. In my opinion Halo CE was the best Halo so far, then Halo 2, then Halo 3, then Halo Reach. I thought they were all great games.

lack of hit scan, aim acceleration, and all around slow gameplay is why i didnt think 3 was a good game.
and while call of duty wasnt the first game to use loadouts it is an arena shooter like halo and its also the most popular game that uses loadouts. the beauty of halo 1 was its simplicity. rarely does adding more variables into a game make the game better. halo is a prime example of this. the more -Yoink- they add the worse the games get…
> Have you ever played ranked games such as Team Slayer or MLG? Those game variants were definitely not slow.
compared to what? the base game or the good halo games (CE and 2)? with every release so far halo has been slowed down and the skill gap in each game has been diminishing… when i played 3 i only played MLG. reach is just so bad i cant even bare to play MLG…
