EDIT: -Yoink- me installed it twice. HOWEVER, the game is still quite large, 91.5gb
So this game is getting pretty big, I just checked my storage and it’s up to 174.3Gb
Now lets say someone just got an Xbox one, standard 500gb and they install the game, and download the updates… (assuming their internet is amazing) that leaves halo 5 taking up over a 5th of their hard drive.
Maybe… compress your updates a bit?
4.5gb for an update is quite a bit, and what are we getting a couple maps reusing old textures, meshes and models? Some reskinned armour? weapon skins? a few req weapons? Are there new sound files for those req weapons?
I don’t understand why the updates are so large for the amount of content we are actually getting.
I updated my storage a few months ago, 2tb because I knew there were going to be more updates. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that 343 is still adding content to the game.
However, I don’t think the team who is in control of DLC for halo 5 is using the best of their abilities. I do feel like they are just slapping ‘New’ maps and ‘New’ skins/armours in the game.
I have not updated in months, but 90 ish gb sounds right, my game is about 85 at the moment. Not sure where you get 170 plus from op. Gears 4 will be the same, it recomends having 70 to 80 gb hdd space free. Not sure what uses that space.
