Six Player Co-op?

I saw a video recently from either, E3/RTX/gamescom about the Kinect supporting up to six players, so maybe Halo will have six player co-op? What do you think?

Dont think that would work. Kinect would be for split screen registering. My TV is already tiny. I’m already at the minimum required to play well.

My only issue is we will either have 6 MC’s or 5 people out in the desert with MC.

6 player co-op for Spartan Ops. Imagine more expansive environments, with varying objectives, and up to 5 other friends. That’ll be cool.

I hope it’s at least 5 player. I really didn’t like how Fireteam Majestic had 5 team members while we could only have 4 in Crimson.

How about just 4 player Co-Op LOCALLY

> How about just 4 player Co-Op LOCALLY

This hasn’t ever been implemented because, for the time the previous games were released, screens weren’t big enough to support 4 players, and still be able to read the HUD, or identify objects at a down scaled resolution.

It might be possible now though, as a lot of people have big enough screens.

6 players would definitely be doable over LIVE or the much neglected System-link.

Now that my friend is innovation, and is exactly what we need for Halo 5, just imagine Spartan ops or firefight, with 6 people. It would be sick. Also, 4 player local co-op would be nice too.

It’s certainly possible , resistence 2 had a 8 player coop campaign that had semi randomized objectives on the levels . It was pretty fun.

I agree that locally only 4 players(but even then it needs to be a large screen). But matchmaking wise 6 players, but the only thing they need to do is increase the number of enemies depending on the number of players (e.g. 1 player=few enemies, 6 players=quite a few enemies).
