Situation on Private File Limit Increase & Tickets

I believe I speak for a lot of us when I say that 50 being the cap for locally saved files isn’t ideal for map makers.
I’ve been scanning the Known Issues on the support site for a while, and it hasn’t come up in the past year or so…So I went ahead and submitted a ticket requesting for a limit increase. Don’t worry, I was nice about it.
Within 10 minutes of my submission, the ticket was tagged as Resolved, with the (seemingly) automated response of: “We hear you! If you want to discuss your problem further, please go to the forums. Send us a ticket if you need any more help.” etc.

I’m not frustrated about this, but it was certainly unexpected.
Was my ticket inappropriate for the Support site?
Is this something they just want to stop hearing about?

I’m no game developer, but considering the fact that private files are stored locally on the Xbox (or PC), theoretically there should be plenty of room available for more slots (depending on our own available space), and therefore be an easy fix. If sending a ticket wasn’t the right way to go about this, how else can we raise awareness about this issue?

I’m not a moderator or anything, but was your ticket inappropriate for the Support site? Yes. Understand the difference in purpose between the forums and the support site. The support site is supposed to be used for things like submitting reports for technical issues and reporting players. The forums are supposed to be used for feedback/ discussion of the games. If the 50 file cap is not working (say it is making you save less than 50), then that should go to the support site. If you want the cap increased or removed then that should go to the forums, more specifically the MCC forums.

The 50 file cap is a design decision, not a bug. MCC came out in 2014, when the Xbox One was new. When the Xbox One first came out it came with 500 GB of storage. With the increased size of games and having to install the games, you could have only a handfull of games installed on your Xbox. Perhaps a file cap made sense back then, but with the increased storage and being on PC I do agree the file limit needs to go.

Fantastic! Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!
