Greetings everyone! I am Darth Baum and I am representing the Sith Remnant here at Halo Waypoint. This is a second go of a clan that once reigned on Halo Reach with numbers above that of 200. We plan for the Sith Remnant to surpass our ancestors and become something truly great, something eternal. This clan will be a community that spans many titles and while we are going to emphasize the growth and development of a Competitive team we want a place for everyone to call their own. We are still in the process of finalizing many different aspects of the Sith and if you wish to have a say in the discussion then join up and we can definitely consider your input.

Clan Structure and Organization

The Sith Remnant is a clan based off of the tenants of the Sith Order from the well beloved Star Wars franchise. While we strive to avoid the backstabbing and betrayals that are hallmarks of the Sith Order a lot of the lore is used to base our structure. We will state that it is not a replica of the Sith Empire as we make adjustments in structure to make it a more effective and enjoyable system. For a more detailed explanation of the clan structure you are able to click on the spoiler below to learn more.

The Sith Remnant is ultimately controlled by the Dark Council. The Dark Council consists of 6 members who each hold the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. The 6 Dark Lords oversee a distinct Sphere of Influence of the Empire. Together each Sphere promotes the growth and expansion of the Empire to one day reach the heights it once knew.

Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy - Handles expanding the Sith and Foreign Affairs. Recruitment, mergers and alliances.
Sphere of Sith Philosophy - Handles propaganda and social media and ensures the promotion of the Sith way of life.
Sphere of Technology - Handles a lot of infrastructure of the Sith (Sites, Club, so forth)
Sphere of Laws and Justice - Handles internal order and harmony within the Sith. Moderation and so forth
Sphere of the Knighthood - Competitive Gaming
Sphere of Propaganda - creation of media content to promote the Sith Cause

Underneath the various Spheres lies the Imperial military which is where our casual players reside. We encourage everyone to contribute and to take up positions and seize power for themselves. A meritocracy.

OPEN POSITIONS AS OF 15 AUGUST 2017

Currently here is a list of positions that are open in the various Spheres of the Sith. Most of the positions below are starter positions so acceptance into them will be more than likely. The main exception include Lore Master, Warrior, Moderator and Diplomatic posts as further review will be required before promotion. For more information about anything send Darth Baum a message over Xbox Live or Waypoint!

Sphere of the Imperial Military

  • Sergeant: We would like to have at least 10 people step up to this post. In this position you would be leading a team of up to around 8 people. You would be most responsible for recruiting for you squad (with some people being assigned to your squad). Those that successfully execute this position will be promoted to higher positions that in the Sphere of the Imperial Military (think of it as a test of your skills as a leader!).Sphere of Knighthood

  • Warrior: Think you are good enough to be the best of the best? Well prove it and become a part of the competitive effort of the Sith. There will be tryouts and potentially other criteria as we only want the best to be on the team.Sphere of Technology

  • Website Project: We are going to be working on the creation of a professional and user friendly website to organize Sith functions. Experience with website structure is preferred. Also once completed maintain and assist with functions that operate it. - Discord/Group Chat Project: We will be creating a Discord Server which needs things like permissions, different channels and organization. Experience is preferred but it should be easy to learn! - Xbox Club and Spartan Company Projects: Improve functionality and aesthetics of the Xbox Club and Spartan Companies.   • Waypoint Attaché: Be the primary point of contact on Halo Waypoint. Also be a person who sends out messages and so forth on Waypoint to potential members. Of course follow all rules and regulations set forth by HaloWaypoint Staff. - Clan Ambassador: Be an ambassador to another foreign entity as a representative of the Sith.Sphere of Philosophy

  • Lore Master: Develops and contributes to the lore of the clan as a whole. Also leads RP based discussion and comments. - Sith Master: A person who participates in the Academy system for the Sith Remnant and trains new members in its ways. - Youtube Video Maker: Help create content for the Sith Remnant on Youtube - Propaganda Poster Maker: Make some cool posters to represent the Sith (recruitment images)
    Sphere of Laws and Justice

  • Moderator: Keep the peace essentially. Make sure on group chats, etc that no one is out of line and swiftly take action to prevent escalation. If we have many good moderators then will should theoretically avoid drama in the Remnant.
    Sphere of Intelligence

  • Intel Officer: Start researching other clans and adding stats to an internal database

-Sphere of Philosophy will be paving the way when it comes to events. We are going to hold massive lore events that will be affected by Sith community participation. What will the next chapter of the Sith look like? You can help shape that story today!
-We are looking for a few more people to take up roles as Dark Lords. This is the highest position in the SIth and if you are interested in those jobs or the jobs in the post above join the Xbox Club/Spartan Company and the contact me!

Good day everyone!

I am Shotgunsniper and I am the Sith Lord of the Sphere of Technology. I joined a couple weeks ago and upon talking with Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Baum he agreed to promote myself and GrandBordec to the head of the technology department. Our job is basically as it says above to improve our technology assets for the community. It is not as glamorous as competitive gaming but it is our niche and we will fulfill it well. I am sharing this story because there is a niche for everyone in the Sith and all you have to do is show the drive and the ability to do it and viola! The Sith are all about ambition and we do not want to hamper that in the slightest. Many clans out there tend to be content with just having everyone being a grunt. Some people enjoy just logging on and playing the game and that is fine but many times people (perhaps you) want to do more and that is why they join the clan. Due to reasons such as not being in a friend group or the main clique you are forever stuck… not here in the Sith. Only drive and ability matter when it comes to where you want to end up. If there is a position you want to have more than likely we will put you there or if it does not exist possibly make a new one!

Anyways enough about myself I am here to make a public announcement about the Sphere of Technology as requested by the Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy. Myself and Grandbordec in the Technology Sphere have been working on a few projects that will allow the community grow beyond its normal heights.

  • The first project is the Discord Server where a link can be found on our Xbox Club: Sign in to your Microsoft account - Next we are working on a website for the Sith Remnant which should be finished this weekend. They don’t call it Labor Day weekend for nothing! The link is SithRemnant.weebly.com and will provide tons of information about the inner workings of the Sith Remnant.

Will you be on the front lines representing the Sith as an Imperial Knight? Will you be behind the scenes gathering data and performing many of its behind the scenes operations? There are infinite possibilities and you are the one who gets to decide how your journey in the Sith progresses.

Important Updates:We have removed the Sphere of Imperial Intelligence. It is not necessary and serves as a distraction toward our major goals.

There are many positions open to those with the drive and ability to get it done. We are looking ever closer toward the completion of the Achilles challenge and the return of the Sith greatness. We will complete our objectives by November and I would like to invite y’all to join the Odyssey of the Sith.

Important Updates:

  • We are going to be holding weekly WAR (Weekly Action Review) meetings with all Dark Lords and Sith Lords to figure out plans and actions. - The Sphere of Sith Philosophy will be overseen by yours truly until a different candidate comes to light. - Sphere of Imperial Military and Sphere of Knighthood will be run by a single leader and will be organized as one unit but still distinguish Competitive Teams as separate from the rest of the Military. The leader of this Sphere will be Lord Hexias. - We are looking for Moffs to take up leadership in different titles and to pave the way in those titles. - We have promoted thebigcheese115 to the position of Sith Lord in the Sphere of Laws and Justice. May he continue to ensure Order within the Remnant. - We are looking for many casual players to make our final push toward Achilles (we are getting ever closer with each passing day). We are also looking for leaders and for those that are interested in RP. We have a place for everyone in the Remnant so I highly recommend joining today!

With over 120 members in our Xbox Club alone and over 50 individuals participating in our Discord communication nexus the Sith Remnant is growing in strength. We are looking for ambitious and able officers to lead the Halo side of our operations to fruition. There are many spots open just shoot myself a message in order to learn more. It is vital to join the club and especially the discord to be involved with clan activity and get the full Sith experience.

We now boast over 160 members on our Xbox Club. This is complimented by our numbers on our Discord Server numbering easily over 50. Halo 5 has not been the great breeding ground for clans like Halo Reach or even Halo 4 was. However it is high time that we made our mark and our landfall on this sphere of Xbox gaming. Our Halo operations are eager for an ambitious leader to take the reigns in this Area of Operations (AO). Plenty of positions exist for the bold and the able to seize them. If you aspire to be a leader in an up and coming clan on Halo then look no further than the Sith Remnant!

Also to any clan leaders reading this post as the head of the Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy I direct my focus towards you. I would like to offer a few choices.
-If you would like to merge into the Sith Remnant there are many different ways we can accommodate that request. From giving enhanced rank and authority based off your ability and numbers. For example at the moment we lack a Moff for Halo Operations so it is definitely more than possible to offer that as a position for one of the earlier individuals applying for the post with numbers at his back. -If you would not like to merge but are interesting in opening relations with us we are happy to do so. We are eager to get known in the clan community. Hopefully we will avoid another spying incident that transpired last time we did so but we remain optimistic that we can open new doors and create broad horizons! -Finally if for some reason you harbor Jedi sympathies or you simply do not like myself or the Sith we are perfectly willing to conduct battle with you. Just let us know.

Updated with changes in structure. We are looking forward to seeing how the implementation of PowerBases work here is an explanation of how it will operate from Royal Guard Wild Interlooper

> Alright here is the idea behind the Power Base system. Similar in concept to Powerbases in the Sith Empire from SWTOR era (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kallig%27s_powerbase). Where Sith built their own bases of power in the Empire to rise through the ranks and gain power for themselves and those below them. We will allow people to start creating Power Bases and through recruitment and activity can rise through the Sith ranks all the way to Sith Lord (2nd Highest Rank in the Empire).
>
> To create a Power Base is simple. First you must be accepted into a Sphere of Influence and be at least the rank of Sith Acolyte. You will then be answering directly to a singular Dark Lord of the Sith ultimately on the Dark Council. Then just tell your Dark Lord you answer to that you are interested in creating a Powerbase in their Sphere nothing super official is necessary. Then that Dark Lord and the Dark Council will observe members you recruit and the activity you output to provide fair ascension through the ranks.
>
> It is important to note that it is not just about recruiting members but if how active those new members… so a member that just joins the Discord server and then becomes a ghost is not going to contribute to your influence as much as a member that joins a Sphere and is participating in the RP for example. Ascension will be roughly tracked through Influence Points (IP) this will be invisible to you guys. As a Sith Acolyte to become a Sith Warrior you need to recruit 3 Sergeant level members (could be more/less but in total activity is akin to the level of a Sergeant together). To get to the next rank 3 times that value and then next 3 times as much until you reach Sith Lord. We will not explain the algorithms but it will take into account several factors of discord activity, participation, subgroup membership and so on.

We are re-emphasizing our Halo Operations again with the recent updates in Halo MCC and the upcoming title of Halo Infinite. We want to have a strong stable footing and we have a leader to head up affairs over here! ARC Nano will be the main guy setting up gamenights and expanding our efforts here. He will also be seeking more leaders and officers so if you feel like you have what it takes to lead then this is a grand opportunity for you! The Sith Remnant has recently created a Power Base system here is an excerpt from the Imperial Regulations regarding this new system for approaching expansion and promotions.

> Power Bases Members are allowed to create Power Bases on a particular game if approved by a member of the Dark Council. This is a rare opportunity for a member to gain rank, authority and autonomy in the Sith as a whole. They gain power for themselves and with it improve the clan itself.

> -Recruitment
> --In game recruitment is the best option. Sphere of Expansion as a whole is maintaining forum threads
> -Member Retention
> --Daily Games with members (or weekly or bi weekly if daily is too much initially but as more members are recruited we will want more)

> --Chain of Command, Communications, Party Chat etc.
> --Reward members with rank, authority and autonomy for helping the other objectives
> -Community Participation
> --All new members need to join the Discord
> --New members should be encouraged to be active on Discord and join a Sphere through example

Here are the key take-aways from this. We are allowing lower ranking members with aspirations to make it big in the Sith to start creating their own units within the Sith. As it grows you will then be able to rank up, gain more authority and answer to less and less people until if you are very amazing at this become a Sith Lord and eventually get a seat at the Dark Council. We want to have the best people at the best positions and if you think you have what it takes then here is your chance!
