For some reason, this site will randomly forget you are signed in and prompt you to click continue if you want to send information again. It will then keep prompting you to click continue or resend infinitely all the while having the green windows live ID signature show up in the far left of the address bar as it does when you sign in. Even if you close the window and navigate to the site again under a different window, it will still require an infinite number of continues or resends. One is forced to clear their browsers cache in order for the problem to go away. This has happened to me many times already and I haven’t even been using the site for two weeks. Pretty frickin frustrating. I hope 343i’s ability to develop this site isn’t indicative of their ability to develop games.
This has been a problem since day one of the board’s creation. Unfortunately it seems like the only way it will be fixed is when this board comes out of the beta. They are completely different languages and you however there are similaritys but for the most part Severside programming such as ASP is much more straightforward then application programming such as C# or C++.
Hopefully the forums will come out of beta functionality soon, However until then we wait. Obliviously as this is a Microsoft site it would be wrong of me to suggest another browser to Internet Explorer to simplify the browser data clearing process but lets say there was another browser out there called Firegoat or Google Gnome. They may be easier to clear the data with…
I so hate this bug in Waypoint.
