What the HELL is going on with this game tonight. I have about 15 games out of 16.
I was tossed into games already started. Most were over as soon as i logged in?
Trying to play big team battle. Why can;t you guys fix this? if you are playing flag capture and its 2-0 and the winning team has the flag.
don’t add a player , grant mercy to the people stuck in the lopsided battle. This is a joke.

Also, by the sound of it, it sounded like you quit out of these games that were already started?
That’s JIP for you. The system needs limit like lets say it’s 50% through of points or time left and that’s where the system won’t add more players to that match.

Nope, same ol crap. first game tonight, was flags on vallhalla already started. the enemy had all vehicles and weapons. spawn killed. how many times can you quit a game before you get banned?

no, they will/can put you in a game with 5 seconds left, From what happened last night. Time for destiny if the game keeps sucking.
I JIP a btb game today and down two flags and I pretty much turned the game around and won it… But I am Halo beast

not sure if you understood what I wrote… on the 30 second thing. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen.
Probably just bad luck. Try staying in the lobby after the game ends

Destiny PvP supports JIP as well, except for Trial of Osiris.
In fact, most PvP shooters have JIP in at least some of their playlists. It’s for logistical purposes, mostly; lessens server strain if it can throw you into an existing match rather than make a new one for you. I always found that when Halo 5 JIPs me, staying in the lobby/playlist matchmaking would get me a fresh game next.

Depends on the playlist. If it’s a ranked playlist, you can expect a matchmaking cooldown after one quit. If it’s a social playlist, it’s more forgiving but depending on your quit percentage and ban history, you could still get a ban after 1 or 2 quits. It’s all relative.
What about someone working from 343. Had one of my team who ditched us cause we were a bit behind, and that quit ending up triggering others to quit. Can they even geg temporary ban.

i would love to give all the Halo developers the biggest middle finger to there sucky playlists and screens locking up halo has gone downhill all year its so simple to stop quiting…anyone who quits can not play again until there match is finished…so if you quit your stuck until that match you quit is over …

(Bold) In THEORY, that idea is a decent one, but in reality it’s not I’m sorry to say. All this will do is drive people away from Halo. Most people would say “screw this I’m playing ____” now.
Maybe you could have it something like, if your playing Team Slayer for example and you quit, you couldn’t go back into the Team Slayer playlist until that match you quit was done but you could play any other playlist.
Also, with all the disconnects this game has, alot of people would be very pissed, unless the game can tell when you disconnect.
It’s hard to find that balance of punishing players that quit but not -Yoink!- them off enough where they go and play something else. Not an easy thing to do.
It happens to me too I always thought it was just bad timeing
I just try to stick it out unless it’s very unbearable to stay in the game. If my team mates have to suffer through it, I might as well too.
I’ve found that the majority of JIP games that I’m put in are not really winnable. The ones that my team do win are usually when I’m put in games early on in the match, but that only happens occasionally. Last night I was put in a JIP assault game with two minutes left and we were down 0-2. Safe to say that we didn’t win.
Personally, I think the game will put you in completely unwinnable games when it wants you to lose so it can try to balance your win percentage.
I’ve completely given up on any unranked Arena in this game. I’ll still occasionally play ranked and I’ll still play Warzone, but unranked is just never any fun for me. My win percentage in unranked is probably like 10%. Even when I put search preference on Focused it’s just one JIP curbstomping after another. I try to take the attitude of “just chill and enjoy it it’s just a game” but that’s AWFULLY hard to stick with when you almost never win.
Halo went from “Yaaay Halo!” To “JUST LET ME WIN!”
You can thank join in progress matchmaking for that. It’s a good idea in concept, but not in practice.
same ol -Yoink- day 3. the first game was already in play, i played 10-12 minutes without getting anymore players. we were short.
my second game i was in lasted point 3 seconds. it ended as soon as i got in. This BS got to stop. i would like to play a full game from the start.
As soon as the new destiny comes out it will be time to go. Plus they removed snipers again.
bull chittt, i take an hour off and get one full game. the next game already started. 2-0 with the other team sitting with our flag next to theirs. 4 minutes of spawn kills. thanks 343. the game has been crap since you took over.
i just started another game and yes already in play. fix this -Yoink-. i tried waiting in lobby still getting crappy games already in play.
