On the other hand, those quotes are both useless without anything to back them up. I fully understand that they aren’t allowed to talk about anything at the moment, but anything they say about their new gameplay mechanics is pretty much for nothing when they have nothing to prove their words. I will stay sceptical until I get a good reason not to.

It’s fine to be sceptical, I am too. The importance behind the first quote isn’t so much that everything is good, it’s the possibility of misinterpretation on both the magazine and the reader’s part.
So… You choose from AR, DMR, Carbine, BR that sort of thing? And everything will be normal and all and there will be balance and no weapon customization? And the progression system will just be slight alterations to fit your playstyle? And there will be classic playlists just like before Halos?
