SINGLE CTF, unbalanced

Getting right into this, Single CTF, is very unbalanced it would seem. The defenders can’t use vehicles.( From a spawn perspective.) You could hijack but with the map it’s paired with, the attackers can fling themselves to the other side of the map. It seems okay on paper I’d suppose but with a ghost and a warthog turret, the defenders are left spawning away from the flag and the other team is left with vehicles to get the flag back. Once they get the flag away from the defending side. It is in all aspects, unrecoverable. You could have somebody head to the other side of the map but that’s just not logical in a defense sense.

I think it needs some balancing.

I believe this game mode is unbalanced, and favors the defenders. This could be due to the map design. The current map really only has two ‘main’ routes to the defenders base, the jump pad and the road, with side corridors and such.

In regards to vehicles, Defenders do have access to a mongoose which is very helpful to catch up to a flag carrier but if you don’t have a buddy with you it is difficult to get that flag back. Also, if a defender hijacks a ghost and plays smart with it, its game over for the attackers. In my opinion the current map does not favor the warthog very because of how small the drivable area is.
