Will there be HCS team skins for the BR ?
It’s very unlikely that team-specific skins will be available for the Battle Rifle at this point.

No, because Magnum starts aren’t stupid. Magnums are a basic and versatile weapon that require some skill to use properly, which suits the “arena” gameplay style effectively. Other play-styles, like Big Team Battle, and Warzone’s REQ system allow for starting with other weapons. I would more likely suppose that the change has to do with the fact that they are pushing to switch the HCS/HWCS settings to have the BR as the starting weapon, which is likely because it is more visually attractive to have the competitors compete with a rifle instead of a pistol. This way, more viewers/spectators will be attracted, and likely more players as well. They also stated that the weapon tuning has been in an effort to revitalize/refresh the game at this point in it’s lifespan.

This is the thing you’re concerned, or have a question about? How about the fact that the whole dynamic of HCS is potentially changing? I am seriously surprised and a little disappointed that with the announcement that the HCS playlist will be adding Oddball with BR/GF starts so far this is the only thread even remotely made about it.

The worst part about Pistol starts is that it isn’t shaped like a rifle. Give it a rifle skin and call it “Bullpup Rifle” or something and I’d be fine. Beyond that it’s far and wide better than the BR start, and trying to force BR starts means the Magnum will use its use as a weapon entirely, because you’re not gonna put the Magnum on the field when you already have a weapon that’s “just as good.”

After the new update the person with a BR is at a disadvantage against someone with a pistol.
