Since when are weapons like the Mangler or Distrupter firing almost 2.5x faster for "Players"

Im sorry 343 this is inexcusable… Ive played 3 rounds of LSS so far and Ive seen over 10 people who are spam firing weapons way faster than they have any right to fire.

Unless a buff recently happened how am I being suppressed with Manglers and Disruptors while using an AR or Sidekick… HOW IS THIS ALLOWED! Not to mention players immediately knowing where I or others are despite no excess noise being made, is way to far fetched to not be cheating.

I was against a Halo styled BR and knew this would happen and still gave yall the benefit of the doubt. These are ridiculous this is Halo FFS not a cash grab. Fix the bugs or get rid of cheaters whichever it is but come on you cant be THIS oblivious to such absurd changes in behaviour.

It’s not cheating. It’s an audio/visual glitch. Basically the sounds of gunfire and the visual effects are being repeated over and over. You won’t take more damage, but your screen will show the damage markers and your rumblers will keep going off (if on controller). It’s really annoying and makes it almost impossible to tell where I’m being hit from.

Few things

  1. The mangler fires pretty fast, however its recoil pattern typically forces people to slow down.
  2. The disruptor, this is a full-auto with bloom and little recoil, It takes almost a full mag to take someone out with it immediately or 6 maybe 7 shots (can’t remember) to achieve it with burn damage.
  3. As for people knowing right where you are, I would like to ask you how many times have you played the mode total?
    I don’t ask this to be snarky but rather because this is pretty much how I felt when I first played it a few times. However, after playing it quite a bit I’ve learned that the spawns are incredibly consistent and predictable. After playing for a while I’ve turned into that person who knows exactly where people will be (mainly in the early phases of the match) and where most of the hiding spots are. My issue is people getting perfects on me with the sidekick or commando, I struggle with both of them and a lot

The game has no Anti Cheat.

Rapid fire is available from most cheat websites.
If you’re on console you can pick up a Chronos adapter from eBay for like $30 these days and then use the site to run your mods.

I’m sure you’ll get a lot of people telling you it’s connection based or the weapons can be fired at different speeds etc, but honestly until 343i adds some decent anti cheat to the game. Bottom line is the cheats are out there and available and being free to play means people can make alt steam accounts or Xbox accounts to continue playing while other accounts get banned.

It’s just how it is right now unfortunately.
