Can we maybe reshuffle teams before the start? The other day, the system generated several 7-7 BTB or 3-Player FF and it really brought it out to me that the system allows for less than maximum team size, so when I had two “teammates” quit out when the voting stopped, it really made me think “Why are we stuck playing 6-8 when it could be 7-7?”
It won’t address the 8-Inheritor teams scaring people off, nor the mid-game bailers, but why start off imbalanced when we haven’t even spawned yet?
If it were more like arena and you couldn’t see anyone’s rank or record before the game, you would see less pre-game quitting.
Quitting, armor lock and stacked team spawn killing in objective matches are the worst parts of the game IMO. But this is still such a great fun game that I don’t really care about the few annoying parts. I try to avoid the annoyances as much as possible.

Stacked team spawn killing is great though. I love my high K/D’s on BTB and Ann. BTB. For a more serious note, I have a problem with this during Multi-team matchs when someone quits during a Rocket Hog match. That and Invasion games as well. 6 on 4 matches when your down two players seriously bites. >>
Yeah, that would be nice. But that’s not the real problem. You wouldn’t have dashboarders if the matchmaking system actually found balanced games.
But that’s not how Reach matchmaking works. It seems Bungie designed it to pick miserably unbalanced teams. Every single time. Either poop or get pooped on. When was the last time anybody here had a 50-49 game?
I probably shouldn’t have mentioned the Rank piece. What I am really looking to deal with is people who dashboard as soon as voting is done. They refuse to play particular maps or game types and will quit as soon as it is chosen.
When they quit, it leaves the rest of the team in a bind.

Today I had a game of team slayer on uncaged that went 50-45. I had a game of btb heavies where the final was 150-149. These games happen.
