I heard that some part of the UNSC Infinity could generate many different environments which also generates the maps on multiplayer. could this mean that Forge could be renamed into the part of the vessel?
the word forge means to form or create, so it could still be called forge.

No, that’s going too far. Forge should not be entrapped in the realm of canon. It’s free enterprise as far as I’m concerned.
If they rename it anything, it should be “The Forge”. No, forge, i don’t see the point in renaming it, it would be a disappointment to the hardcore “forgers” to be called “cartographers”.
EDIT: Not everything needs to be canon, like the dude above me said, that’s going to far.

Wrapping things in fiction is cool to a point, but there’s a line where it goes from genuine resonance to simple gimmick. I believe making Forge “canon” would be crossing that “Look guys, EVERY aspect of our game is canonical! Even if it seems shoehorned!” line. In other words, it would be hard to make that resonate with fans in the same way they’re hoping Spartan Ops and War Games will.

I agree, its overthinking to consider Forge to be part of the Halo universe and part of the Infinity. Some things are just part of a video game, there is no hidden meaning there and there is no need to force it.
We’re still going to call matchmaking matchmaking and multiplayer is still multiplayer. You’ll never hear people saying “Lets go to the Infinity and do some Spartan combat simulations”, they’re going to say “Lets play Halo”. Again there is no need to overthink it.
