Since Forge now has dynamic lighting...

This means tunnels will be quite dark. This leads me to believe we’ll have a plethora of lighting objects to choose from! :smiley: With these lighting objects, it would be very possible to create creepy Infection maps and such.

How do you guys plan on using the new dynamic lighting system and the possible new lights?

lol I was thinking the same thing the first time I heard “dynamic lighting”. Though, I think by the time we blocked out the sun, we would either be left not that many Forge pieces to work with or none (I guess it depends on whether or not you want to just cover a small area or the entire map).

That’s actually a good idea, and if so we should at least be given more than two lights to play around with this time.

That was one of the things that annoyed me the most about Greylo’s forge…

Going to see if i could make 2 suns or maybe very bright desertish maps.

I’m going to guess some walls with have lights already on them. In Halo Reach, tunnels had lights on them and you could change them different colours. That’d be great.

Also, I really do hope they can get more lights into forge, that’d be great to create a long tunnel with a light every 15 metres or so. :stuck_out_tongue:

NO, we need to have the ability to make indoor maps!

I have a quick question: Will Air vehicles create a shadow?

There better be a plethora of lighting objects or I’ll rage!
Plethora is such a cool word!

Most likely some pieces will come with their own light so that indoor maps don’t look horrible. I wouldn’t have thought of that all all OP, nice thinking

Now there’s an question but will it be dynamic shadow.

I didn’t notice it myself, so I wouldn’t know. But if the player creates a shadow then chances are that vehicles, air or not, should create shadows too.
