Imagine it.
Fractures Nile
Armor Core - Ahati
“An ancient dig revealed that ancient humans were indeed advanced and had lived upon the world that the Forerunners called ‘Erde Tyrene’. And though they were gone, ancient Egyptians had found these technical marvels and used them to make their empire. Perhaps one of the weapons they were attempting to reverse engineer was the cause of the Bronze Age Collapse? That can be studied at a later date. Because an alien race has accosted our colonies and this ancient technology will be vital to our fight. And the A.I.s that our ancestors mistaken for Gods will teach us how to effectively use the Ahati battlesuit against the Covenant that turns our worlds to sand, ash, fire, and glass.”
Could be interesting to get Egyptian stylized armor, A.I.s modeled after the Egyptian Gods, and possibly a map of a dig-site in Cairo where the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx are in the background, revealing ancient technology beneath the sand.

More likely we get a Roman or Greek themed armor than Egyptian because for all that’s worth, Egyptian soldiers are not well known or even well researched beyond weapons.
Samurai armors are iconic and there are realistic recreations or existing sets still around.
WW2 era armors are well… a stylistic choice I guess, along with Steampunk designs.
You rarely see any Egyptian style armors in media because you mostly think of things like wraps or at least some chainmail thingy, if any at all. It’s been also founded by researchers that in the Old and Middle kingdoms, Egyptians probably never wore armor at all! It’ll take alot of research and development for 343 to cook up an Egyptian style armor with little or no real life counterpart, so I’ll expect them to skip it.

Basically Anubis 2.0
Sort of falls under Sandalpunk and Bronzepunk
They’re mainly like ancient Rome and Greece, but Egypt would fit the theme. We had Bronzepunk armor in Halo 3 and Reach in MCC

This is true.
BUT you can imagine a hybrid of Egyptian Regality mixed with Shiny Armor Design AND with animal helmets to resemble the gods.
Ra
Horus
Anubis
Bastet
Sekhmet
Maahes
Set
Sobek
Hathor
Thoth
Wepwawet
Wadjet
I could also see imagry of Egypt being used when it comes to armor coatings, some armor pieces, and 2D texturing decals. Imagine having a Scarab on your shoulder as an armor, a visor said to be crafted from Horus’ eye, or a Khopesh sword as a utility attachment?
And besides, we are likely going to see the Fractures armors from MCC re-imagined slightly and then brought to Infinite.
Yea I’m just saying if they are creating based on popularity/real life inferences, Egyptian style armors may not be high up on the list.
But the next Fractures Armor Core is diesel-punk trench warfare style. Hardly realistic in real life, and as for popularity; Ancient Egypt is always a popular topic of discussion and is often used for sci-fi setting inspiration. Heck, take Stargate for example with how they had some creative liberties with Ancient Egypt being actual aliens!

Yea but Egyptian armor specifically isn’t that popular, not as much as Steampunk/WW2. As I’ve mentioned, maybe due to a lack of reproductions or the fact Egyptian soldiers back then never wore armor, it’s harder to visualize unless someone explicitly asks for an armor design with Egyptian motifs, which is hardly Egyptian, just a visual style.
Until 343 reaches that ideation stage, it may just be tucked away.
I will not say it won’t happen or wouldn’t happen… but i certainly hope not…
