Since all your threads suck...

Seriously, all the threads on this damn forum are bad-and that’s the community’s fault.

I don’t want to hear your bs about server issues (it nothing more than you’d expect on a launch day btw).

-Yoinking!- tell me what you thought of the game.

I’ve only played campaign so far, but I loved it for the most part. On normal it was pretty short, but that doesn’t take away from the quality (yes shortness is horribly bad, but it was still fun).

The audio needs some work, but it was good enough. Graphics are amazing, especially for Halo and xbox. The ancient evil is creepier looking than I was expecting, the mantis was a beast, AR was also a beast. You also finally get to pilot a pelican.

One problem I had was the lack of being able to find other weapons (BR, etc) in the later missions. And the shortness of the campaign (on normal) along with the lack of music (which doesn’t really fit at all, even though its kinda good) took a lot away from the overall experience. The shortness also made it harder to test out all the weapons. The ally AI seemed a little smarter than the -Yoink- marines we’re used to in Halo campaigns, but again the shortness gave me less time to fully test it all out.

Keep in mind that I’ve only gotten the chance to play the campaign. Overall it was really good, fun, not run and gun (you actually have to think), and felt like Halo for the most part (the lack of music, which really didn’t fit anyway, was the only thing keeping me from saying it’s 100% Halo).

Opinions opinions opinions.

I don’t want to hear what you have to say either. Bye.

I absolutely love the game think it is amazing just the xp cap makes matchmaking feel lackluster especially since it can be reached very very easily.

Sarcasm or not, wtf man.

Since you commented on the friendly AI, I’ll say a bit about my opinion on them. It gave me so much relief, on the mission “Infinity” to see that my marines took cover, hiding behind trees and running from enemy fire. Though they still can’t drive to save their lives, the allied AI in Halo 4 are vastly improved over any entry since CE. Playing the second to last mission on Legendary (I’m still working on it) an allied marine actually managed to knock the backplate off a Hunter, then ran away from it, drawing its attention so I could kill it with a sticky to the back. Onboard the Mammoth, Marines and Spartans in turrets would actually prioritize Wraiths over Ghosts, Ghosts over infantry, and so on. Though some friendlies have problems (a Spartan IV refused to get on my tank in the 3rd mission, regardless of how long I waited for him), friendly AI is pretty good this time around.

If you don’t want to hear people criticizing the game, whether or not it may be legitimate. I would advise you close your web browser.

Your good post has brought me out of spiraling depression. Thanks!!

As for the SIV not getting on the tank, have you tried getting out then getting back in? Have you tried moving the Scorpion around?

I tried repositioning once and the particular Spartan took a few steps back to avoid my tank, but I was taking a lot of fire by that time, and decided to just get going.
