Ok, it’s simple. Solid armor color and solid under armor color. I’m simple and I would like to see traditional Spartans. I’m not a fan of the under armor being painted partially your primary color and I think my Spartan would look better If the under armor was a solid black, like Master Chief’s or Palmer’s, or even the Spartan 4’s you meet in the single player campaign.
To combat this issue now I have primary as black with my secondary being the color I would rather have my armor to be. Then I skim through all the skins till I find one that fills in the most of my armor. But it would just be so much simpler if a solid secondary skin that paints your full armor was released. Then you can do primary black then secondary whatever color you want your spartan to be for a more, I don’t know… Maybe old school look? Thoughts?
Can they make a skin that makes the undersuit black, but doesn’t effect the primary and secondary colors? That or a skin that makes your secondary more noticeable w/o having splotches of color all over your armor would be nice.
Several players including myself have complained about not being able to change the undersuit color. Hopefully, we have the option to keep it black in Halo 5.
correct me if I’m wrong, but originally I’m pretty sure you were going to be able to change the under suit color. I remember at events before h4s launch people would go into customization and you could change the “base” color which was your under suit. Wonder why this wasn’t in the final game.
It’s to bad for the most part small threads like these go unseen or get overlooked. Maybe someone up there in 343 will read this and get it applied. Fingers crossed.
