Simple question: "War Games Map Pass"

Before Halo4 was released, I bought the “War Games Map Pass” so I could get the map packs. They were working until the “trial” versions were disabled (please don’t turn this into a rant about the trial). The announcement here: https://forums.halowaypoint.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=168244& states

> I purchased the War Games Map Pass and downloaded the Crimson Map Pack. Do I have to do anything to keep playing on the new maps?
> You won’t have to do a thing. You can continue playing the Crimson Map Pack as normal.

Unfortunately, I get the “unable to validate” error on the console. No one seems to know how to regain access to the content I paid for, so I’m asking directly. I’ve tried removing and redownloading the Crimson pack, but no change. Someone mentioned I should redownload the pass itself, but no one is saying how that’s done, and it doesn’t appear anywhere in my console.

How do I get this purchased content back?

Found the solution. Totally missed it was likely reset and was showing a credit in the same amount as the purchase cost for the map pass. Logged in through the game, and used that credit to re-purchase the map pack. Immediate positive result.
