Ok, I’m working on a forge world as I mentioned in an earlier topic… But there’s one very large issue: Where is the non-existent button to let the player tilt the blocks slightly? Bungie knew that tilting the building blocks and other forge items was pretty sensitive, so they created the axis controls (shifting blocks by changing their coordinates) and the angular snap (5 degrees to 90 degrees), which 343 kept, and that’s good… But they also had a FAR more important button to make moving, tilting, turning, flipping, and angling blocks MUCH less sensitive; however, from what I see… It’s not in Halo 4… Why not? They added the magnets, which is awesome (kinda), but removed something as important as that? Really? It would require very little changes to include this button, and they can easily map it to the crouch button, hold the left stick, just like it used to be. Without this button, how can 343 expect the player to be able to make minor adjustments to make a perfect map? Look at Cubeskew, you can’t tell me that button wasn’t used in the building of that map variant.
Another obvious change that should be made, is including a gauge for sprint. From what I see, it’s non-existent, but it should be there for people who don’t have mobility (infinite sprint) equipped in order to make it easy to monitor how much sprint you have left, and how much has been recovered after sprinting, instead of estimating.
Those are my minor issues… I have others, but they aren’t AS important… If you want to post your ideas of changes that need to be made, feel free to do so.
