I was opening req packs tonight and noticed that it gave me 200 req points but also gave to two perm unlocks. I continued to open 3 more and it never happened again.
So the question is, why did I receive RP in a silver pack even though u wasn’t done with the silver packs?
Are you sure it wasn’t a daily win pack? They normally have the 200 RP card, and they look like silver packs.

Yes it may have been your Daily win Pack, its graphic is silver so you could have been mixed up? I have never received RP from a silver pack before, but is common in the daily win pack
It wasn’t a daily win pack. As I said is till got two permanent reqs but I watched the bottom right corner and saw it add the RP. I’m thinking there was a problem with the new update because after that I started unlocking items from the new update.

Oh, OK maybe 343 decided you didn’t need another needler and gave you points instead. 
BTW I have gotten permanent certs in daily win packs.

My rank is only 77 and opening permanent reqs in daily wins has only happened to me twice. I swear I’m not crazy, as I said I was buying the req cards (with RP) when it happened. Maybe it was a weird thing with the recent update.
ive gotten the 200 card in a silver before, I was happy it wasn’t a shotty,
My normal silver packs have randomly started containing weapons that I don’t have a cert. for - I recently got a cert for the SPKR Rockets, but because of this oddity, I keep getting SPRK EM’s instead… o.o
I didn’t have the same as you but after the update I went back to openining silvers after previously completing silvers.
By the last few silver unlocks required I was getting one rare unlock and one req reward of 1500. The first time it happened I thought I’d finished silvers again but kept buying them in case and sure enough, for 4 or 5 silver req’ packs I bought I got 1 unlock and 1500 points.
