SILVER OR GOLD REQ?

So recently I’ve just bought halo 5 and I’ve been told to just buy silver req packs because they are worth more than gold?? But I’m also being told that gold is better because you have a random chance at the start to get legendarys rather than common and rare. Could someone please give me some insight on what packs they purchase and why it’s better  thanks

I actually got bronze first to fill up most of the common weapons. Then I was getting silver for the uncommon and now I’m at the gold for the rare weapons. This is if you are into playing Warzone.

Most buy Bronze then Silver then Gold, maybe treat yourself to a gold. If you start with the lesser packs you have a less chance of getting low quality stuff in high quality packs.

From levels 1 to 40, exclusively purchase Bronze REQ packs. If by level 40 you haven’t acquired all common weapon, vehicle, and player boost certifications, then you should divert 90% of REQ pack purchases toward Silver packs until, roughly, level 65. As previous comments have suggested, treat yourself with a Gold pack on limited occasion(s). From level 50, and onward, I recommend that you buy a Gold pack every 20 to 30 matches. Godspeed in your endeavor, Zenoshea!

Post script: to maximize after action REQ points, be sure to play the following game modes, in order of most valuable: 1.) classic Warzone; 2.) Warzone assault; 3.) team slayer; 4.) breakout.

I’ve been doing similarly, buying all bronze packs until I’ve unlocked all the common req. now I’m just buying silver packs to get some of the uncommon and (occasionally) rare items. But once I stop getting those ill start buying gold packs.

SWAT is also quite quick. The points are low (650-750 depending on if you win), but games are super fast.

Go for gold my friend, If you want to get new armour and helmets for your Spartan.

Use your points and start with bronze, then work your way to silver then gold. By doing this you have better chances pulling all or most of the commons and uncommons for less points rather than wasting gold points for common and uncommons

Gold packs contain uncommon to legendary. There are so few Legendarys, good portion of it is Ultra Rare, but mostly Uncommon and Rares. So most of the time you would be getting Uncommon to rares. Might as well go for silver right? Well, silver contains common to rares. 5 games of warzone assault for a silver pack only to get 2 commons? Or 4 or 5 games of warzone assault, then buy bronze packs and get up to 4 to 5 common reqs. Sure there are dead pulls, but its quick and easy to get enough points for a bronze pack or 2. So start with bronze to get rid of commons, do not worry about dead pulls. As long you can keep buying them and sell useless mongooses then it should be fine.

I have saved up to 5000 point and when at 5000 I spend 1000 on the gold and have been doing this from now on and it works for me my next goal is to save up 100,000 points

Ive been doing straight gold and i have most uncommon and rares out of the way, im getting to the point where some of my packs are getting double ultra rares. so id say go for gold, takes longer to buy a pack but in the long run it gets you the ultra and legendarys faster.

Silvers early on for the long grind to get the lower level stuff done. Going gold first is inefficient if your intention is to get the things higher than Rare.

I totally disagree. I’ve only bought gold and I’ve gotten good stuff regularly. I got the 6 REQ DMR around level 33 and by level 34. I had an ultra rare DMR and LEGENDARY DMR. I have got a good mix of Uncommon, rare, ultra and legendary.Just for kicks, I recently bought a silver. I got absolutely nothing new. Just more of what I had. You guys keep preaching it. But I have yet to see hard evidence to back up your theory of buying silver until you get everything.
