Silver or Bronze

Hello, lately I have begun switching to silver packs to wear away at the rare and uncommon REQS, however people argue that using the bronze firs is the smartest way o do it, however the bronze method is not guaranteed, I tried using it and it returned a 3 in four common permanent unlock chance, yet the last 6 times has not, is it better to move on to silvers or stay on bronze ( still have 47 bronze items to get)

When I started playing I just opened Gold Packs 24/7, but now I just change it up. I only open Gold and Silver Packs now, but if I sell some stuff to get a bronze Ill buy one. I save up 20k REQ points then either open 2 Gold’s or 1 Gold and 2 Silvers. At the end of the day, just depends on how lucky you are.

I generally have the 3 perm unlocks from 4 bronze packs. Opened 13 bronze packs recently and I think it gave me 8 or 9 permanents.

Also, as these are only common, it kind of makes sense to start with bronze packages. Mathematically atleast.

A gold pack cost 10 000 and can unlock anything as long as it is locked. But only two guaranteed.

A silver cost 5 000, while it can’t unlock as high level items as gold, for the price of one gold, you get four guaranteed unlocks. Same price, more unlocks.

Now, a bronze is only 1 250, with a chance of an unlock. However, if we go by the 3 / 4 ratio, it’s still better to go for bronze packs due to you getting away all commons cheaper than if you were getting them in golds or silvers.

Of course, this is chance at play, but I do feel like you’re more secure going for bronze packs to unlock all commons first, then silver and last gold. Or atleast until you have a few commons left, then go for silver.

I stopped with all other than bronze, and I am getting value for my req points. More value than if I were buying silver and gold packs.

I have never gotten an unlock of any kind from a bronze. I refuse to buy them.

I just opened bronze until the returns started getting low. Like you, I would get a common unlock 75% of the time, then I started opening 4 packs and would get nothing. At that point I switched to silvers…

most of the time I get an uncommon or better, but I’m also widdling down my commons every now and then… Seems like a more efficient use of my req pints at this point…

gonna give the bronze pack a try later and see if it works out better

Just go silver for guaranteed unlocks.

I would have to say the main reason you haven’t unlocked anything worth bronze packs is because you don’t buy them. There are certain things like railgun certification that you will only get in bronze packs.

I almost exclusively open silvers, but every now and then I save up for a gold pack.

ive bought a few, got a few from promos, level ups etc. Not even one permanent unlock from a bronze, hence why I won’t buy them ANYMORE. (Sidenote: I hate the railgun, I suck with it, lol)

I personally opened mostly silver packs and a bronze every once in a while. Overall its a 50% chance to get a permanent unlock from a bronze pack, so you can go either way.

silver for me it takes 3-4bronze packs to get a unlock plus you get 2 unlocks per silver & you can knock out common-rare reqs easily that way

Use Bronze until you get the majority of Common certs, then go Silver for a looong time.
