Was defending on the assault variant of march on storm break and me and my fireteam found a slightly cheeky tactic when defending. If you requisition scout hogs they appear directly inside the base, and since they only cost 1 req level if you get 2-3 people chain spawning in oni scout hogs then you can hold the cap progress from increasing pretty much indefinitely, and we pulled this off for 2 solid minutes in a game where the enemy team were literally all over our base. Even with the pause in between spawns, scout hogs can last long enough to delay the cap till the next one appears.

That seems rather broken then.
Honestly the way the “take over” or “defense” should work is how many players are in the base. Whichever side has the more players in it should have the take over / defense count for them. I just hate how one person can prevent the take over just by hiding.

lol, I use that one to defend the core.
I think spawn killing is far more cheeky.
I went on massive sprees spawn killing them from behind never letting them get near the base to hold it.

I find that annoying when defending cause you should spam them cause they know not to go in that way and go through the back. You need to wait till they pop up on the radar then start spamming. You don’t want to make it obvious you have infinite grenades.

No your right, but the feeling of power is to overwhelming. Lol Also @evil I mainly wait for the core section as well due to limited area of access

So the attacking team can cheat by taking the armory early, and the defending team can cheat by spawning in scout hogs to appear in the base immediately. Since both teams can cheat, is it fair and balanced?

Lol that makes a twisted kind of sense. But i think the armoury glitch is better for winning (not that i use it) because it makes defenders spawn at core so stops this scout hog defence. Im going to stop indulging in this warthog exploit since it is pretty cheap and needs a fix tbh.
