Silly Ops

Can somebody explain to me why amputating whole Halseys arm is the answer to a gunshot wound?

If you notice she was shot in the shoulder, yet they amputated everything past the shoulder… So the wound is still there…

GENIUS +10 LOGIC POINTS TO YOU ELITES WELL DONE HAVE A STICKER

o.O

Not sure if i liked the conclusion, really the only way to redeem Halo’s storyline now is simple.

Kill Palmer, bring Thel’ Vadam w/ John back, find a way to bring Johnson back (again) and have Trolland as MC’s AI. C:

Because Sangheili don’t like being doctors, and are therefore bad at it.

she could have been hit in a joint where her shoulder and her arm move there fore rending it useless

In real life gunshot wounds can be severe enough on a limb to an extent amputation is required.

It’s the year 2561, Magnums would be awfully pretty strong by then. And who ever said that Sangheili are the best medics?

I personally really liked the ending, but IMO the cinematic should have been a bit longer. I had a feeling that the Prometheans would be killed off, but the very thing I don’t like about the conclusion is that…

We’re fighting against Covies AGAIN!

Elites may not be Doctors but I’m sure they know how to wrap a bandage around an arm to stop the bleeding. I honestly can’t see how amputation would have been necessary, my theory is Jul cut her arm off as punishment for sharing the other half of the Janus Key with Thorne.

I know that but damn, Sanghelli are thick! Didn’t even like, wrap it or anything?

gets shot in the shoulder, so they amputate her whole arm. And they even amputated the wrong part of her arm, the wound is still there. Its a shame to know that 2000 years in the futer and out medical science has degraded instead of advanced.

Elite Doctor 1: What is this? 'tis but a flesh wound!
Elite Doctor 2: Human in pain wort wort!
Elite Doctor 1: Fine! Activates Energy Sword This might hurt a little…
Halsey: You wha…

Well it could be a couple things. Jul could of cut her arm off as punishment or it could have been nonfunctional.

I’d put that arm on ice just incase of the possibility I really didn’t need the Human to operate the Forerunner technology, just the DNA or touch might be sufficient. Let alone who knows if the Covenant possess cloning technology somewhere on that ship.

I can’t believe so many people seemingly blanked at the dialogue between Jul and Halsey. He flat out said it was a form of punishment for deceiving him and handing over the other key fragment to the UNSC. Halsey said she basically didn’t care as she knows as well as Jul does that he needs her alive, missing left arm or not.
