Silentium's synopsis kinda spoils something

In the synopsis for Silentium it kinda spoils and confirms that the Flood are indeed a creation of the Precursors (kinda expected that). Why say that in the synopsis of the book? We’re like 3 months away from the book being released, we wanna find that out when we read the book ourselves.

I don’t see how it saying the flood was created in another galaxy confirms the precursors created it.

It doesn’t confirm any of that.

The Precursors created many technological species, including humanity and the Forerunners. But the roots of the Flood may be found in an act of enormous barbarity, carried out beyond our galaxy ten million years before…

I am pretty sure this part is what people are getting it from.

we know where they are getting it from but it doesn’t say who created the flood just that the creation was barbaric.

Its not a spoiler, its a mystery if anything, but it never says the Precursors created anything but basic intelligent life, technological species,.

Besides the synopsis has been out for lords, a long time… why just now bring it up?
