actually it isnt true. you need 6000 and 1 posts 
I’m still trying to understand their reasoning. I guess because some people might abuse it, but is that really a reason to take it out on everyone?

Sigs were somewhat abused when these were gamma forums. Though why 343I chose Spartan - Iron as the rank to unlock them is a bit odd considering how many posts you need to have to get to that rank

A “Report signature” feature could work in theory. I’m no programmer, so don’t quote me on that.
